ZENDONER — Restaurant in Nice

I’ve tried Zendoner on 2 occasions now, both poor. First time they forgot half of my takeout order and I had to go back. The second time they didn’t read my order and added ingredients I had asked to be excluded. They also put less than normal portion of meat even though I’d paid an additional €4 for additional. They argued amongst themselves for a while in front of me about how they’d made the incorrect order. They then proceeded to hand it to me hoping I wouldn’t notice, when I pointed out it was wrong the server just smirked. I do not recommend this place. I guess it used to be good with the many high ratings. But after trying it twice and on both occasions being disappointed it’s not worthy of the hype. I’d recommend avoiding and trying...

Natalie and Paul are serving some of the best Doner kebabs I can easily say atleast across Europe. There is a reason that the line outside to counter doesn’t ever stop and keeps going on and on.

Their hospitality is beyond exceptional and so is the quality of their ingredients and the eventual food.

We ordered two chicken Doner kebabs and they turned out to be exceptionally delicious. There definitely was a bit of wait but this one was so well worth it. With one of the orders we added fries and a couple of sauce ( spicy and the garlic sauce) and they added the zing to the meal.

Great ambience, amazing hosts and bellies full with the food, what else can one ask for?

I've read a few negative reviews, mostly related to the experience with the staff or the ordering. I have to say I can confirm some issues, including the girls at the counter who wouldn't smile, not even to Brad Pitt. I can only suggest improving the UX/UI design of the ordering device to better explain WHAT you are ordering and the difference in products. I'll add that, and this is a personal preference, the food is clearly too dry. That said, I'll be back and hope to reconsider my 3 stars...
