Maison d'Asie by Le Kobé — Restaurant in Nice

This is my first time in France so I was a little skeptical of trying sushi here. I owe a big apology because the sushi here was AMAZING and totally exceeded my expectations.

Starting with the miso soup, which was filled with all sorts of goodies like enoki mushrooms and not just your typical powdered soup base with tofu bits.

Green tea was served in a beautiful pitcher and tea cup set.

When the rolls came, we were surprised at how nicely they were plated. Fish was fresh and the rolls are super tasty.

I got the salmon avocado and spicy black dragon. Both were so good but the black dragon was especially good.

Tried my partner’s salmon nigiri and regret not ordering the set! So delicious.

Service was also great, the staff are friendly. I don’t speak very good French but there were a few staff members that were able to kindly serve us in English when they figured that out.

No complaints about this restaurant. Honestly better than a lot of sushi I’ve had in the US and Asia....

I tried the Ramen Detox and a peach-flavored iced te. The udon soup had a light and comforting broth, with perfectly cooked mushrooms and vegetables. The tofu, shrimp, and udon noodles had excellent textures, and the dumplings were nice. The service was also lovely, with a very kind and friendly waitress.
