Palais Thaï — Restaurant in Nice

Never come back, not worth money & services were poor

We came at 7pm in a group of 4 & were very excited because there is no Chinese hotpot restaurant in our cities, but it was then very disappointing

First impression, barely empty sauces & food trays. I thought we came a bit early, the restaurant needed time to prepare, but no refills for sauces. Food trays with a few shrimps, 8 pieces of fish cake, clams, stripe, 4 kinds of mushrooms, noodles, etc... 3.There was only a lady (I guessed she is an owner), she refilled beef & pork once or twice (I don’t remember exactly), zucchini & chinese cabbage + what were already in other trays. Thats all for the whole dinner, costed 22.8e/person. Asked to refill the soups, she literally poured hot water in Our very last rounds, zucchini & cabbage trays were empty, the lady just focused on her phone & ignored us. We were very disappointed with the hot water, so didn’t mind asking her to refill. There were only 4 of us and one customer during the dinner, then I knew why no one came during the dinner, except us

I’d highly recommend to have a hotpot using Haidilao instant soup base, much better than this restaurant. Don’t be there & be disappointed like us who were craving for...

I've just wanted to have Korean food, but there is no any Korean restaurant. So I've decided to have hot pot in this restaurant. When I came in there. There is no English menu. Therefore I wasn't able to understand that menu. However restaurant staff tried to explain their menu. If there was no their kindness, I wouldn't have my dinner. Absolutely incredible - I couldn’t think of anything that could make this experience better. The food was so tasty, fresh, and warm. Of all of the Chinese food I’ve had this is the best.
