Let me start with saying that food is amazing. We ordered oysters and scallops with avocado and vine. Very delicious. However the manager of the restaurant ruined all the experience. It was our first impression of the city and we didn't expect such rudeness. To explain the situation: we asked for the bill, when we got it we wanted to pay by the only banknote we had which was 500 EUR. We totally understand that it might be a scary banknote and a big sum for some places, but not for the restaurant in the city centre of Nice. Manager said that they don't have change. She didn't offer any solution rather than me going to the exchange. We wanted to cooperate and help, so I went to exchange, while my wife was waiting in the restaurant. However in exchange they refused to change. I went to 2 more places, same result. After 20 minutes of walking I came back and honestly said that I tried, but nobody changes. Manager asked me again if I have a card and then weirdly asked me how we travel without money at the card (which is absolutely none of her business). Then she said that she has to call a boss. After 2 minutes change magically appeared in the cashier and she brought it to us. Then most interesting part starts. Instead of politely saying to be careful in the future in other places with big banknotes, she started to roll eyes and blame us that she had to call a boss and ask for a secret code to get money. We politely replied that we have money and you as restaurant supposed to have change. I also remembered that I tried to change and spent time in it. She started to say: imagine coming with American express and not able to pay (how is it even related?). She continued to argue Infront of other customers, then went behind my back and continued to blame me in a rude manner. Then she continued to do the same even we she talked to other customers near us. She said it's our problem and not the problem of the restaurant. We had money to pay in beautiful restaurant in the city center.
To sum up there was no need to escalate the situation, lie that the don't have change (obviously they had). It was such easy solution which could be polite. Food was amazing, but this manager ruined everything. Never in my life I experienced such attitude in hospitality. We went to nice restaurant, not small cafe. Absolutely...

The oysters were an absolute delight, bursting with freshness and briny flavors. Each one was like a little taste of the ocean, perfectly chilled and presented. If you're a fan of oysters, this place is a must-visit.
The scallop seviche was a revelation. The delicate balance of citrus, mango and spices beautifully enhanced the natural sweetness of the scallops. It was a refreshing and light dish that left me craving for more.
The grilled sea bream was the highlight of my meal. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and tender, flaky flesh. The seasoning was just right, allowing the natural flavors of the sea bream to shine through. It was a true culinary masterpiece.
Apart from the outstanding food, what truly sets this restaurant apart is its warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, treating me like family. Their genuine hospitality added an extra layer of enjoyment to my dining experience, especially when given with a chilled bottle of Rosè.
From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with smiles and attentive service. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations and ensuring that all my needs were met. Their passion for their craft and dedication to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction.
Overall, this place is undeniably the best in Nice when it comes to seafood. The combination of amazing oysters, delightful scallop seviche, and a superbly grilled sea bream make for a truly memorable dining experience. Coupled with the friendly and familial staff, this restaurant deserves the highest praise. Whether you're a local or a visitor, make sure to treat yourself to an extraordinary meal at this hidden gem. You won't be...
Read moreNeck tat hôtesse is a force to be reckoned with don’t you dare be a disobedient guest at her establishment she will make it a night to remember distastefully. Maybe she’s on her “.” but judging by how artfully she is in making her guests suffer… I’m not one to complement but she has mastered this art. If you want to seek public humiliation… come and be a disobedient guest at neck tat lady’s establishment.
The food not did not meet expectations. Lack of care, lack of quality, however there was an abundance of the general attitude of “you’re lucky to be eating here” vibes 🌈
Seabream Ceviche: delightful, fennel forward, not too acidic. ⭐️4/5 worth getting just don’t prepare your self to be blown away.
Grilled Corn on the Cob: deep char, easy bites, nice pairing with the cream cheese sauce. ⭐️4/5 delightful just prepare to pick kernels from your teeth.
Half-Cooked Salmon: it’s basic salmon, but with bits of asparagus ⭐️ 3/5 it’s good salmon, albeit quite underrated for a place that specializes in seafood.
Grilled Octopus, Spanish Rice, Chorizo, Peas, Sweet peppers: this was a disappointment, the octopus was cooked perfectly. However there was no chorizo, and therefore tasted bland, since it’s just saffron lifting the dish and nothing else it just tasted like melted plastic. Not sure how a dish of 5 ingredients was missing an ingredient but c'est la vie, you learn that something’s are simply not worth waiting over an hour to be seated and served ⭐️2/5 at least the octopus was cooked beautifully.
Service: was okay other than tatted neck lady, very overwhelmed and borderline hostile at times. Would I...
