Pizza da Francesco Nice — Restaurant in Nice

I was craving a slice of pizza when it was raining, so me and a friend went down to Francesco’s, it was pouring rain, we were drenched, yet there were 7 people waiting for pizza in front of this little pizza shop, we didn’t even order the pizza, we just had the ready-to-eat square of margherita, the price was absolutely amazing, the owner heated up the slices in the pizza oven, we payed and we were on our way, great service, nothing more than it needed to be yet he was not rude in any way, and even in the pouring rain these ready made pizzas were some of the best pizza I’ve had in the region, the dough was soft in the right places and crunchy in the others, the sauce and cheese were rich and flavorful yet not overpowering. You order and wait outside for your pizza. Not a restaurant just a pick up place. No seating available. They have different vegan pizza options. The dough is delicious but the tomato sauce and vegan cheese were not that delicious. Only one man works there. The same person takes the order and cooks the pizza. So it takes ages to get your food. We waited 40 minutes to get two pizzas. Wait time is too long. However the worker is very friendly. Don’t just wait outside thinking there is a line to order. People are waiting outside to pick up their food. Go directly to the counter and order. There are also options that you can take directly. But need to wait if you want...

Arriving in Nice hungry, we checked out some local pizza takeaways and found this spot with high ratings. We ordered the 4 Formaggi Veg pizza, hoping for a great experience. Initially, the man at the counter seemed a bit unfriendly and didn’t speak English, but he warmed up as we ordered.

While the pizza was affordable compared to other places, and the location was close to the shore, we found the taste underwhelming. The flavors didn’t quite meet our expectations, and it lacked the richness we hoped for in a 4-cheese pizza.
