Le Bistro Dalpozzo — Restaurant in Nice

Wow! What a hidden gem, this restaurant was more than my sister and I could have asked for. When we arrived we were greeted by two employees who were excited to seat us, they brought over their handwritten menu (which changes daily) and explained every item on the menu. We knew we were in for a treat after seeing how proud they were of their food. We ordered the Panisses as a starter. These were crispy, warm, and served with a garlicky mayonnaise which was delicious! We each got different mains, I had the 36 hr slow cooked Beef Rib and my sister had the risotto - it was delightful, balanced, and the best meals we’ve ever had. They paired specific wines with them which made the experience that much better. Lastly we finished our meal with a dessert which was to die for.

Normally I won't give a five star rating on my first few visits to a restaurant, but Le Bistro Dalpozzo deserves 5 stars on everything. Absolutely delicious, and the appetizer of garden vegetables was spot on fantastic. We were also so impressed that the vegetables can from their garden. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that there is work being done of the facade of the building and they were not able to have the awning cover the exterior seating. I am certain that it will be a short lived inconvenience and there is always seating available inside.

In addition to the amazing food at an affordable price is the fact that they are open on Sunday!!! That is an amazing find and we intend to spend a number of our Sundays enjoying the delicious food at Le...
