International travelers beware: You are not welcome here. The young lady with long dark wavy hair working at the cash register around 10:30 pm on Thursday, July 10, 2025, reminded me why I haven’t had any interest in returning to Paris since my first visit nearly 30 years ago — but my family finally convinced me they wanted to see it. After a long day of seeing the sights, this place a 15-minute walk from my hotel seemed like a great way to end it. It was busy and while I was waiting, I was carefully observing the ordering process so as not to hold up the line…but I couldn’t see or hear even the person in front of me at the register. When it was my turn, I smiled warmly and tried to place an order. Quickly, I was rudely shamed and told I was doing it wrong. So I will continue to visit and spend my money in all of the other countries where I feel welcome (which is every one I have visited over the years other than this one). As for me, after spending some years working in tourism, I will continue to warmly welcome and be helpful to international visitors to my country, who I always enjoy meeting and learning from.

Absolutely horrible and rude service! The gelato is below average! The logistic of the store, from ordering process to the arrangement of the gelato, is illogical (borderline stupidity, to be honest). They put the sorbets at the very end of the line, which is closest to summer heat outside, and that is just one example of the lack of thoughts in their service and products. Not to mention their employees are terribly lacking in manners and incredibly rude. Apparently, a high school diploma (and the employee was very sure to make us know that she was very proud of her high school diploma) is all you need to yell at customers. I suggest the stores change their education requirement for their hiring because a high school diploma obviously does not guarantee simple civility and polite customer service. DO NOT COME HERE! TERRIBLE FOOD...

I am particularly disappointed in this ice cream parlor. I went to buy ice cream and they gave me a petit size instead of the classic. The worst thing is that they charged for the classic and then if I hadn't noticed they didn't say anything and the girl noticed. However, they did not make up for the mistake and they gave me a smaller size ice cream. I understand French more than I speak but I think they think we are stupid. It's not the first time, e.g.: in this ice cream parlor already happened to me before they forget to give me, for example, the macaroni I bought for my ice cream... I'm not bothered by money but by dishonesty. The quality of the ice creams is good but I won't be back because I don't like that they try...

Ice cream quality- 5/5 Ice cream variety- 3/5 (fewer than some of the other Amorino's I've been too, I would have given a 4 but they didn't have my favorite cheesecake myrtle flavour at least when I'd visited) Indoor seating-2/5 it's a small place so they only had indoor seating for 2 people Outdoor seating-4/5 available for about 12-15 people Staff-5/5 extremely friendly and helpful, spoke both French and English Ambience-3/5 Flavors in the photo: Amoretto , Citron, Mangue et Fraise, Vanille et chocolat

Love how you can add so many different flavors on one cone. Both ice cream and sugar cone were delicious, and the hot latte we ordered was good too. I got chocolate, vanilla, salted caramel, and straciatella. Server was generous with the samples too! We sampled probably 10 different flavors and she gave us big portions to try for each flavor. She let us take our time in choosing flavors and did not rush us. This location is right across the street from the Paris catacombs as well :)
