Alright here me out... this is not your typical hater comment. I do respect the profession a lot and I know restaurant staffs are always working hard. The service was fine and I'm not at all blaming the workers. What went wrong: the food was okay but not "wow. Is there a reason to come back to this place? Not at all. You can find other Tibetan places around which are way more affordable and with greater varieties.
The worst: we booked through The Fork ("La Fourchette") and we paid through the app. I showed them the payment proof and also screenshot from my personal bank account but the manager called us thiefs and he asked us to not leave before we give them our IDS and passport "in case we run away". I'm a very shy person by nature. I don't like conflict at all. This embarrassed me in front of family and writing this comment I'm literally sobbing. We ended up leaving... paying the full price even though we were eligible for discounts through the app. I just wanted to leave this nightmare of a place asap.
In a nutshell: an insult to the Tibetan culture and the south asian diaspora in Paris. You portrayed a very bad picture of ourselves and the community....
