BB RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Paris

We enjoyed a very relaxing early evening meal at the BB. We had booked a table in advance for 7pm but as we were passing at about 6pm they were happy to seat us earlier for drinks. The kitchen didn't open until 7pm which gave us a chance to people watch and relax. Our waiter was very friendly, efficient and spoke excellent English. We all had the fried halloumi starters, which were delicious. My son had steak, whilst my wife and I both had chicken and rice for mains. Very cool vibe, happening spot in the ninth w friendly, attentive staff. If you are here to see and be seen w some drinks and maybe a tapa or two, it's a good choice. Regrettably though, the dinner menu was pretty awful. My son's bavette was ok, but my risotto was disgusting. We were sat outside (didnt look like we had a choice) which would otherwise be awesome on a summer night, but as always Paris never fails in delivering up every smoker in town to ruin your evening (and your dinner) by lighting up...

It was closing time, I walked in this restaurant, asked for a steak, the chef took pity on me and kept the kitchen open..The bavette steak he served, arrived with flavours like I have never tasted before, the best steak I have eaten in a long time and that includes my multiple visits to michelin star restaurants. Service was equally as brilliant. I have found a gem and highly recommend this place. I cannot wait for...
