Best Africa — Restaurant in Paris

It is a very small restaurant with terrible service. To say that the cashier was unhelpful bordering on rude would be an understatement. I have a peanut allergy and was trying to determine what the sauce was that she kept insisting that I take over my rice was made of. After several attempts to explain my situation to her or to get the ingredients of the sauce I turned to Google Translate for help... and the sauce was made of peanuts! The kindly older man that handed me my beverage was the highlight of the visit. The (dry) rice and chicken was fine for 5 euros but while we were eating the owner began yelling at 2 female patrons and grabbed 1 woman's plate, threw it in the trash, and while screaming profanities told them to get out. He then began to argue with other customers that tried to intervene on behalf of the ladies. The policy on sharing is apparently Very Strict but it is shocking that customers much less women would be treated this way. Unfortunately, I had already given them my money. okayy i see lots of bad reviews so i’m going to share some positive and negative thoughts: positives: good food! honestly the options are solid and well done price point: any meal goes for 6.50€. that’s a huge selling point imo the people: definitely met all kinds of interesting people there

negatives: service: only adding this because of other reviews but it’s a west african restaurant. you’re there for the food, not to be treated like royalty. it is what it is.. safety: definitely was bothered by how anyone could enter and disturb the peace of the place. no one was in phased though but i was still surprised so you may want to be aware of your surroundings and be mindful of your belongings

all in all: if you’re only interested in the food, this is a good pick. if you care too much about other things, you may end up not even...

À ce jour lundi de pâques, le 10 avril 2023, je suis allée à ce restaurant BEST AFRICA, 58, rue Doudeauville dans le 18ème arrondissement, comme il m'arrive d'y aller régulièrement. Mais j'ai remarqué, encore une fois, ce côté des-humain et méprisant , un comportement irrespectueux, que certains employeurs ont envers les clients, voire agressif. Le responsable un monsieur malgache dont le nom m'est inconnu, a l'habitude de parler mal aux clients sur un ton arrogant en défiant qu'il fait comme cela lui plaît même quand on lui signale qu'il y a des limites à respecter puisque nous sommes dans un pays de lois...aujourd'hui, un monsieur africain est entré dans son restaurant en demandant si quelqu'un pouvait lui payer à manger. Un client s'est tout de suite prêté à lui offrir un plat, ce dont le responsable n'a pas refusé de vendre, par contre une emploi a aussitôt commencé à protester de la présence du monsieur. Elle s'adressait auprès des clients pour médire sur un ton haineux de ce pauvre monsieur en question. Néanmoins, je me suis approchais du responsable, ce monsieur malgache, pour lui signaler sur la scène qui se passait devant les clients, le mépris et la maltraitance sur un homme...le responsable de ce restaurant BEST AFRICA était très agressif en me disant que ce monsieur donne une mauvaise image à son restaurant , parce qu'il est sale, il sent mauvais et si je ne suis pas satisfait " cassez vous et ne revenez plus si vous n'êtes pas d'accord avec notre façon de faire envers lui" . C'est regrettable que cet établissement ne respecte pas les lois et que soit la serveuse médisante et le patron maltraitante. Il faut éviter ce lieu où les serveuses et le patron sont impolis...
