It was recommended by a French colleague of mine for lunch menu (28 euros for appetizer + main course). I went there in the evening (32 euros for each main course). The sauce of both main courses is on par with good French restaurant, but the way the restaurant deals with the ingredients itself is mediocre in my views. Lamb is cooked medium rare, outside wrapped in a circle of sheep skin / sheep fat (?). I guess the goal is to focus on the flavor of the lamb itself, but I have to say the texture of the sheep skin / sheep fat distracted me a bit and they tasted a little greasy. I tried similar main courses in some other excellent French restaurants and they can usually get rid of these grease. Regarding the fish main course using sea bass, the cooked part of the sea bass was exceptionally tender and went very well with the sauce, I definitely love the combination. A large part of the sea bass wasn’t cooked much and it reminded me of sashimi, but unfortunately this part was mostly the chewy tissues from the sea bass, so in the end I had to spit them out because I couldn’t swallow them. So my conclusion is, let’s just say the level at which this restaurant handles meat and fish was relatively basic among those good French restaurants, but it lacks a good touch to some of the details. Nice decor and the servers were polite and professional, I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, but wouldn’t go back for food like this at this price.

Feasted like royalty at Frenchie Pigalle last night. Nestled in Pigalle, an area in Paris that was once home to artists like Picasso and Van Gogh, Frenchie Pigalle has a history as rich as its cuisine. Starting off with a perfect Moscow mule and a diverse selection of wines, we then indulged in a selection of artfully prepared dishes. From a bacon scone glazed with honey to goat cheese-filled choux pastry, each bite was a revelation. A beautifully executed pea tart with crispy pastry and creamy mint filling, and asparagus adorned with an anchovy emulsion further delighted our senses. Our mains included a perfectly sous vide egg accompanied by broccoli and walnuts, a succulent lamb duo with apple and mint, and cold linguini in an Asian-inspired sauce. The dining experience was sweetly concluded with a unique goat cheese dessert featuring raspberries and smoky ice cream. All the while, we reveled in the delight of people-watching, making this gastronomic journey truly memorable.

I had the wonderful opportunity to have dinner at Frenchie Pigalle for the first time when I stayed at Hotel Grande Pigalle last year. The food, ambiance and the service were so amazing that it was one of the first dinner reservations I made when returning to Paris this summer. I love the creative and innovative seasonal menu and the staff is comfortably knowledgeable when talking about the food and about the wine selections - there’s an expert sommelier on staff who perfectly paired a Sauvignon blanc with our dinner choices. The food flavors are a party in your mouth in what I can only describe as an upscale yet warm and inviting atmosphere (with a great music selection). Can’t wait to go back before I leave. Thanks Frenchie!

I don't normally write reviews, but since I had complaints and no one in the restaurant cared, might as well do it here. First the waiter, a boy, had a very strange attitude and unwelcoming feeling. Then, after seeing the extremely HIGH PRICES, I thought either the place is very generous with portions or very skilled in making food. Turns out it was neither ! The fish was chewy and way OVER cooked. I've had chicken more tender than this fish. Its sauce was nothing special, tasted like salt, pepper, and water basically. The portion (Claiming for 2 or 3 people) was one fish for around 80 euros !! I could eat that on my own. The tempura vegetables had RAW BATTER INSIDE !!! We communicated this to the waitress, but all we got was 'we will let the chef know'. The baked carrots were mediocre with a watery sauce underneath. Finally, the dessert followed the same attitude, no complexity, no intensity in flavours, just overly priced. Restaurant acoustics is horrible, sooo noisy that we can't hear each other, and open kitchen with horrible ventilation that the place and our clothes smelled like intense cooking. If this place is not aware of these things, they should do something about it, and if they are, then this is a disrespect to people's experience,...

The place is a total trap for hipsters and tourists. The service is terrible and the food nothing spectacular for the price. I was there with a friend yesterday and we ordered two main meals. After a huge delay, they brought only one meal, saying they thought we will share it. I don’t know who shares a duck breast… The hostess was very arrogant and suggested that we eat only one meal and they give us some snack to it. My friend asked them to prepare the second meal and bring both portions together. She also said she expects them to cover the dessert for this inconvenience. They gave us two cookies while we waited and brought the food after another long delay (which was kind of odd, given that they have only four main dishes on the menu). At the end, they offered dessert, which we expected is on them. They served it with a glass of champagne, but then charged us for the dessert. They said they are already making us a huge favour with the sip of champagne and the two cookies for free. We stayed there around 3 hours in total to wait for their average,...
