This place is right by Gare du Nord, and unfortunately, it's as much of a tourist trap as the location suggests First, I had to seat myself inside in a random spot. After a long time, I had someone come up to me and clear the table. Then after another some time, the same person came back and asked for my order I went with oefs du mayonnaise (eggs w/ mayo) and a croque madame, which is like ham, cheese, and egg sandwich First, i got the oefs w/ mayo, which was actually decent. the presentation of the mayo swirled within the hollowed out egg was pretty nice, and the overall thing tasted quite good - although most of the credit on that goes to the presence of the mayo, and not much from the restaurant's end when i ordered, i asked for a croque madame. however, they brought me a croque monsier - the difference is that this does not include egg. there was no egg present on my dish. also, what was very odd was this wasn't even a sandwich. it was two slices of bread, with slices of ham on each, and a single large blob of cheese across both of them. it was very odd - I've had croque monsieurs before and none of them have been like this After a few bites, I decided to give up on this. the bread was not good, but most importantly, it was wayyyy too cheesy to even really be edible. The price ended up being around 20 euros in total, and considering I only finished the eggs, it was not justified. at least the portion size on the croque monsieur was decent? Overall, this is place with pretty bad food, that's crowded, and with terrible service. 2/10

If you’re travelling by Eurostar service it’s a perfect place to have a break from your journey. Just in front of the railway station and also it has a gorgeous view on a lively street. I must say that even if nobody will meet you by the entrance and it looks like you can take any empty table, the waitress will probably pop up soon and guide you to a specific table, so don’t think you can sit whenever you want 😁 Anyways, food is delicious. My recommendation is an onion soup which is a perfect match for a rainy day. A lot of interesting museums (including Louvre) are situated within a walking distance from this spot. But if you decide to have a little look around after your meal, just bare in mind that you might be able to bump into groups of illegal immigrants (or people who at least look like illegal immigrants) as you still close to a railway station. So just don’t be surprised and keep safe.

I came here on two separate occasions. The first time, I had a Croque Montagnard (€12,90) which came with a generous serving of chips and salad on the side. It was pleasant and filling. The staff were attentive despite the number of diners. They also have free WiFi! The second time, I enjoyed a warm, delightful bowl of onion soup (€7,50) and a crêpe with Nutella (€5,80) for something sweet after the soup. The staff were friendly and liked singing along to the music, which I thought was quite playful. I had nice experiences here so I recommend you come and try something from the extensive menu of French cuisine. I have a few more days in Paris and I see myself coming back to try the duck breast with a glass of wine one evening. @deeyandrax

Please don’t come! We wanted to have a quick lunch before catching the train. The lunch was 42 euro and the staff said the bill doesn’t include service charge. He pointed at the receipt and said to us that 10% service charge is 3.84 euro and asked if we want to include the 10% service change to the final bill. Even I know that 10% on the receipt is the VAT( clearly shown on the receipt), I agreed to pay 10%more as the service charge even there was no particularly good services). My husband then proceed to tap the card and the staff shown him the +10% button. The staff then asked him to tap the card machine and turned out they charged us 50 euro!! Which is 20% more on top of our bill. I then said that they are liar and tried to take money from us as we are tourist and they thought doesn’t know anything. The staff then paid us 8euro back as we were very angry that they tried to scam us! The staff just kept saying to other customers that we said ok to the service charge (we agreed 10% but not 20%!!!!). There is no such a thing for service charge in France! Customer pays services charge whenever they wishes to! This restaurant is not...
