This is an 100% gluten-free restaurant, which is very nice for folks like me who have celiac disease and worry about gluten contamination in other places. I was really excited to try this place because I heard great reviews. I tried the fried chicken and waffles meal and my husband had a waffle with banana chocolate and peanut butter. We both had a glass of fresh pressed juice that was carrot orange apple. Absolutely loved the juice! It tasted just like when they make it at home. My husband loved his waffle. I tried it and did not care for it. I prefer light and fluffy waffles with a crispy exterior. These were not very tall, a little bit on the dense side and lack flavor and crunch. Ask for my chicken and waffles meal, the waffles were actually cute heart-shaped pancakes that had dents on them, not actual waffles. They were delicious made from sweet potatoes. They were served with syrup. The chicken is what I was most excited about and completely disappointed by it. The chicken was so overcooked that I could barely chew it. I literally did not finish the two pieces of chicken because I was tired of chewing and having the moisture sucked out of my mouth. My husband ate the rest of my chicken by dipping it in maple syrup. The crunchy exterior had great flavor, but the interior had no flavor and it was breast meat that was extremely overcooked. I will not be back. There are other 100% gluten-free restaurants in the city that are amazingly good. I have to say the staff was super nice and it's a charming little place so I am bummed that our meals...
Read moreAfter we had reserved a table, the waitress kicked us out to another smaller table because another reservation had arrived. This was only an hour after we sat and some of our food hadn’t even arrived. The food was not great for the price and the service was arrogant and cold. If you’re reading this, you can find a million places better than this in Paris, do yourself a favor and don’t come here
REPLY TO OWNER’S RESPONSE: not only do you not know how to manage a restaurant and lack any form of manners, but you are also a big liar. We arrived only five minutes late (not 40 like you said we did, and I can provide evidence to anyone who needs to see it). Additionally, my friend had to ask four times for her dessert after you rudely kicked us out of our table (which proves your second lie that we had already been provided all of our food). Learn to better serve your customers, it is never acceptable to kick them out of a table and move them around like cattle. Maybe in the future you could instead enforce time limits for tables by letting customers know in advance how long they can stay. Learn from your mistakes and don’t rely on lies just because you are incapable of acknowledging your own shortcomings as a business. By glancing at other bad reviews you have gotten, it is evident that you don’t do well with criticism. If you expect your business to last, LEARN TO LISTEN TO CUSTOMERS...
Read moreEven if you have a reservation, you will be kicked out of your table after little over an hour. If you think a mediocre brunch menu is enough to justify rude service and being kicked out of your table that you reserved, then this is the place for you!
Reply to owner: For anyone still reading this review, be ware that the owner of this business relies on lies instead of taking responsibility for her own shortcomings as a business. The owner lied that my group arrived 40 minutes late, even though we were all at the table just 5 minutes after 11 (which was the time of our reservation). The owner also lied that we got all our food before we were aggressively kicked out of our table). It is a pity to see a business that responds like this to its customers and you clearly need to learn a lot in regards to how to properly respond to criticism, especially when it comes as a result of your own mistreatment of your customers. It is confusing to me how a business with no capacity to rectify its mistakes and learn from them, can continue to operate in such a competitive market such as Paris. Learn to better treat your customers and learn to better respond to YOUR OWN...
