I had a very unpleasant dining experience this time. Twenty minutes after we were seated, the manager asked us to change our table to make room for more guests. I checked the new seating arrangement and found it cramped, unsuitable for a baby stroller, and potentially unsafe. I refused to change seats, and the manager continued to blame me and told me that I should not sit here . If I didnât comply, it would affect his ability to accommodate the other people. He tried to confuse right and wrong .
I was with my 6-month-old baby, a stroller, a thick coat, and other belongings, making it very inconvenient to move. The manager, as a human being , might not understand how challenging it is for a woman with a baby. To prioritize his business, he caused me unnecessary trouble. He then insisted that we had sat at the wrong table and blamed us. Despite his insistence, I stayed at my original table.
When it came to ordering, my friend and I ordered four dishes. The server didnât ask about the order of serving and brought all four dishes at once. The meals went cold fast .This was very unprofessional, as it didnât allow us to enjoy the meal slowly. And yes, this is supposed to be a French restaurant!
This is my second time to be in Calice, I know the space is big enough to put a stroller. Anyhow the dining experience was terrible. Iâve visited Caliceâs sister restaurants, Baillotte and Narro for 10 times at least .I believe Iâm qualified to give an objective review. This time, however, the experience was very...
Read moreIâve dined here multiple times, food is always amazing, the service is usually perfect as well. However, a few days ago that has suddenly changed. There was a mixup with our food causing a 1h 15min wait between the starter and the main course during lunch on a weekday. Everyone around us were finishing their deserts, so we asked whatâs up and got our food in a bit. After we finished our food a tall grey-haired waiter asked us if the food and the timing were good. Once he heard, that the food was as always fantastic, but the timing was unfortunate, he blurted out that this is not a McDonalds and...
