Hôtel Monte Cristo — Hotel in Paris

Lovely hotel in the heart of the Latin Quarter in a quiet street. Lovely decor we were on the 5th floor. Lovely touch with madeleines in the room , artisan chocolate and a rum cocktail all of which we loved. Breakfast in the bar area was perfect with very attentive service and great choice. Perfect scrambled eggs and smoked salmon unlike many buffet selections we have experienced with rubbery offerings!|The beautiful pool was a bit of a stunning addition and unique in Paris, down in the basement it was simply wonderful. It’s narrow but a good size for a decent swim which you booked. We went twice early in the morning , it was a great start to the day.
