Unbelievably bad service! Arrived on Wednesday evening when the restaurant was relatively quiet. No menus, so everyone had to wait their turn to look at a chalk board for the food choices. Drinks arrived reasonably quickly, but we also asked for water which never arrived. Each time one of the waiting staff came to us, they asked again if we wanted water. Each time we said yes, but it never arrived! First course arrived after about 20 minutes, and was pretty good. After an hour our main courses still hadn't turned up and none of the staff seemed to know what was going on. The manager came out and asked if we wanted to order food and we had to explain we had already ordered 90 minutes ago! The food finally arrived after we threatened to walk out. The food was quite tasty, but that point we'd lost our appetites a bit. Eventually the manager came out and blamed the problem on the waiter, which seemed a bit unfair as we saw the waiter write our order correctly and our first course arrived, so the order must have made its way to the kitchen! The manager then didn't charge us for the meal, which was some compensation, but a bad...

If you are not 'blanc', keep close observation in the service by the old guy. There is a different!!! We came because of good reviews. Overall experience was good except, Were is my steak bone? This is one of the best piece and if the owner really understand steak, this should NOT be missing when we asked for the 'doggy bag'!!! Of the 3 sauces, only the red wine onion sauce stands out! Can't take out the onion sauce, WHY? Big secret? It is shallot, butter, sugar and red wine. I can detect a hint of condescension because we are looks 'Asian' and young? No! We are Canadian and affluent! Food is about the ambience and food! This place make most of it it's money base on young foreign costumers but the owner does not seem to 'get it'!!! Upon coming home, it was very upsetting to realize the beef bone was MISSING!!! Do you reuse it for another customer? Check your 'doggy bag' before leaving the restaurant. If I have time, I would have come back to ask for a partial refund! Do not...

Wish we could rate this higher, as the food was exceptional, the wine list was great, and the vibe was fun - the doors were open to their terrace, and the lights dimmed in the later hours and the disco ball turned on!

Unfortunately during our visit on a Friday night, the restaurant had multiple large parties at once (probably like six+ tables of 6-10 people), which significantly slowed our experience (and the table next to ours). Our dinner, which consisted of an appetizer and main plate, took 2.5 hours in total! We didn't order dessert since it was clear it would be another long while.

The staff was buzzing around but were very kind and offered us bottled water on the house and served us more bread as they apologized for the long wait time. It was also really hot inside with only a small fan to help.

In summary: Wonderful food, good vibe, kind staff, just disappointing in terms of how long it took and comfort...

Very disappointing experience. A couple of hours after dining at this place I found myself with a terrible stomachache due to food poisoning... My other half and I went for the set menu. I had a fish based dish as starter and main and obviously the fish was not handled properly in the kitchen. We already had the feeling that cleanliness was not one of their priorities as we were given the cheese leftovers of more than 20 people (see picture). Thank God I didn’t touch it otherwise I would’ve got something else other than food poisoning... that cheese board went to 4 different tables before it landed on our table. You will be able to see that even other people’s cutlery was left on the cheese board... as I said before that night when I found myself in pain I was not surprised at all!!!

Very good French food at a reasonable price. All of the dishes are thoughtfully put together and 100% made in house. We got in okay without a reservation but it’s not a bad idea to make one. Also, as an American speaking to other Americans, this is a restaurant less catered to tourists so be prepared for some ribbing if you ask for a takeaway box or do something distinctly un-Parisian. It was harmless, but present. The rabbit pate came with some fermented cabbage and sauce that complimented the dish very well. We also had a braised beef dish with potatoes that was incredibly tasty and a crème brûlée that was perfectly executed. If you’re in the neighborhood and looking for a laidback classically French dinner, I’d recommend stopping by.

Hidden treasure! Best meal in Paris. Value for money! We absolutely loved the main dishes, my husband and I shared the sea bream (with asparagus risotto) and pork with smashed cabbage. The flavors were on point! We both got starters but they were not as impressive as the mains. The final dessert was icing on the cake (not what we had as we had the rice pudding with salted caramel). We had a really friendly and hardworking waitress. Would highly recommend this restaurant!! The menu came in English and the service staff were also great in communicating in English. It is slightly off the main streets of the train station but its so close by you should just skip the typical touristy areas / restaurant. Yummy!!!
