Wow. I guess there is a first time for everything. Sat down outside to have dinner on a table for four close to the street, (I was alone and the restaurant was almost empty, so I asked the staff if it was okay for me to pick this table even if I was alone) and the waitor was very nice, said it was ok and took my order. Then this absolutely vile man came out and told me quite agressively to move to another table because I was alone on a table for four. I just replied politely that his collegue said it was okay and I pointed to the fact that there were 8-9 tables available in the almost empty restaurant. And then he not only yelled at me that I should leave, but he practically threw me out. There was no conversation leading up to this aggressive reaction, I did nothing to make him upset except sitting in his restaurant. He Came right up in my face, was already mad when he started talkings to me and waved me off before I had even managed to pick up my bags. I could maybe have understood if I was provoking him with a loud discussion, but there was none, and there was absolutely no - zero - reason for him to react this way. The guests on the table next to me was completely shocked as well.
I would highly recommend you go somewhere else. I have never seen such behavior from a restarant employee en my life.
Disclaimer: I was sober and this was in the afternoon and I was just looking to have a nice dinner while...
Read moreThe pizza, wine, and location are some of the reasons why you should maybe try this place. Additionally, the Italian waiter welcomed us to a lovely table even though the restaurant was just opening. He served us delicious house wine and was so friendly during our order. My husband and I were thinking of returning to the pizza place on our next trip to France, but this all changed when the short grey-haired man showed up. This short man is the owner and has terrible customer service or empathy to travelers with multiple suitcases. We were asked to move to a smaller table because we were not “ a party of 6”. During our entire service, not one person sat at our original table or any other table in our area for that matter. The short grey-haired man also made a few comments to his cooking team as I waited patiently for the female restroom to open. Not to mention that a blonde plumped woman made a nasty face when my husband asked where the restroom was located. Sadly, what was to be a lovely experience at this pizza place, turned out to be one of our worst time in Paris! Three stars because the Italian gentleman...
Read moreAs a Family of four staying in Paris for 3 days we dined here twice. We couldn’t resist going back for a second time as we loved the authentic Italian food and the fabulously warm welcome we received by the staff. The first night we were served by yasmin (or perhaps it was yasmina) and she was the very best example of First class service. It really was the perfect combination of great service and great food and without both a restaurant is really nothing. The second night we were served by a male waiter who was very patient and kind with our very poor attempts to speak French. Congratulations to the owner, he/she must have an astute way of finding great staff. A huge well done. We live in London and would love love love this restaurant to be our local! Would recommend to anyone. Thanks again for 2...
