Café Foresta Paris — Restaurant in Paris

I was physically assaulted by the waiter! Do not enter this place!. Its hygene standard are highly questionable. I had the worst experience in my life in a restaurant. I asked for a medium rare stake and they provided a completely well done stake. I told the waiter to change it because it was bad cooked. Then he start to justify why he thought it was cooked correctly. I said I will not eat it the way was cooked it and I would like to leave. The waiter took my bag by force!!! And start to say insults to me! I never feel so threatened in a restaurant. After the owner arrived I get my bag back and left. The waiter was more a criminal than a waiter. Nightmare experience... There is a serious failing in the service I received here today. The fish was off and smelt rotten. When I received my meal, I waited for the waiter to come and ask me how meal was....this never happened. In spite of trying to catch his eye to have my meal sorted he had disappeared! When he finally came, I'd eaten the vegetables served with the meal and informed him the fish was off and hence I couldn't eat it. He suggested I ordered more vegetables to mask the smell. Odd I thought but didn't want that. I asked for a discount off my meal as I hadn't eaten the fish. He said no but said he could offer me another fish instead!. Rats was running around the restaurant, and ran over another customers foot which scared her and caused her to jump and physically flip over a booth backwards onto the floor seriously hurting herself. The waiter didn’t even check it she was okay he just chuckled and checked the fan to make sure it wasn’t broken. Drinks took 20 minutes to come. Restaurant was very dirty and empty. To top this off we was still made to pay for our drinks which was €35 before leaving the restaurant even though we placed our dinner orders we couldn’t stay it really put us off.
