PLAN B PARIS — Restaurant in Paris

While waiting for my train at Gare du Nord in Paris, I wanted a quick snack. Surrounded by Popeye’s, McDonald’s, Burger King, and Five Guys, I ended up at this small sandwich shop run by a couple of really friendly Tunisian guys. They offer a student discount menu 💸, which made it very affordable.

The fries were absolutely spot on — crispy, flavorful, and a generous portion. But the star was the sandwich. The chicken was coated in a super crispy, flavorful batter (I think they might use cornflakes) that gave it a great crunch without clinging too heavily to the fillet. The chicken inside was juicy, and the batter was so tasty it made the whole fried chicken baguette stand out from the typical chicken sandwich. 🍟

They also have a sauce station where you can help yourself to whatever you like. The menu is varied, the indoor seating is spacious and they do offer luggage storage — but only through a third-party app.
