My husband and I visited Poya Restaurant on Sunday, hoping to warm ourselves up with a comforting bowl of ash reshteh and a glass of wine. The food itself was fine and gave us a small connection back to our Persian roots, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, the customer service was disappointing. We also noticed something very strange on the bill — we were charged twice for one bowl of ash reshteh and one glass of wine. This left us feeling uneasy, since it seemed careless at best.
Overall, while the food offered a nostalgic touch, the poor service and billing issue took away from the experience. I truly hope the restaurant addresses these problems, because Persian cuisine deserves to be enjoyed with hospitality that matches...

Manager was disgusting with me and my friends. He literally Yelled at us. According to him we are not welcome in his place because it's " a place for the artist. ".FOR NO REASONS. we totally don't understand why he reacted like this. I specify that my friends and I had a correct attitude we didnt disturb the place.

Having a drink there, made you make a stop in time and appreciate the present. I tried the ginger juice and cardamon tea which are tasty. If you are not into sugar skip the cardamon tea or don’t use the nabah, (which is a natural sugar from Iran) overwise it’s good. I was really disappointed by the pastries plate who was poor, 4 little non tasty cakes battlying in a plate... Anyway, it’s still a nice and original place to go. It made you travel to Iran...
