Am putting on a different lens (and taste buds) for this review. Not comparing the food here with the ones we get back in Asia….amd specifically, Bangkok. Had ordered the som tum and gai kard prow….which are, respectively, the papaya salad and the stir-fried chicken with rice. Taste-wise, they were not bad. Portion-wise, for me, I had to doggy-bag and have the remaining chicken and rice for another meal. Price-wise, it was affordable. The food shown in the website is nothing like the food served in the restaurant…I lived in Cambodia and visited Thailand many many times so I know Thai food… when I saw the photos I went with a lot of great expectations…finally an authentic Thai restaurant in France…only to be bitterly disappointed…. the Masaman curry was served in a tin bowl with 80% rice and a small tiny amount of curry….the pad thai was terrible…brown slushy noodles with dry tough chicken…tasteless and nothing like a PadThai…I would not recommend...

I emerged 3 hours later, after numerous glasses of wine, fantastic authentic food and much laughter with chef Peï and her husband. The food: i particularly liked the beef salad and pad thai. The wine: bought 2 bottles of red. Great stuff. The company: this a true family restaurant. They're funny and kind in equal measure.
