Chez Tartar — Restaurant in Paris

We had an amazing dinner. The food is fresh and really good quality, and the service was super friendly. They gave us an amazing wine recommendation based on the food we chose. me and my friend got the tartar and we thought it was really nothing special :/ it was freezing cold and flavours were very very bland - i think a tartar is supposed to almost melt in your mouth and be soft and flavours should be bold , and this was quite the opposite .. i don’t understand why the place has such high reviews unfortunately. on the other hand, the restaurant is in a lovely and quiet and non touristy area and prices...

Great. We Got the nice huge table with cheese and charcuterie for 2 and that was more than enough. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. Despite not having saint Germain spritz, they came to ask if they could offer another simmilar elderflower drink which was pretty much the same. Always appreciated when you get treaten transparently and warmly as in the Chez Tartar. Thanks. Definitely coming back...
