I was lucky enough to stumble upon this hidden gem tucked away in the Vincennes area thanks to social media. The moment I stepped into the shop, I knew that I wasn't just there for a simple business transaction but a personnalised gastronomy experience. The more I talked to the owner Faten, I knew that I was in good hands, in the hands of someone who is passionnate about creating fireworks with flavours from all around the world. My initial intent to only buy two jars of spread from Faten was overriden (I left with three, haha) as I see the love and care she puts into each jar she created.
What really stucked to me during this visit was what she said about hoping to bring people of different origins and culture together with food amidst this uncertain age of war between certain countries. I find that a beautiful way of thinking about food and I truly believe that her spreads were the embodiment of what she said.
I definitely recommend you to just go in and say hi to her, talk to her and who knows, you will find your jar of happiness before you leave the shop.
