I give only two stars and whoever gives more must not know what real Mexican food taste like.
We ordered the guacamole as a starter and as you can see there was only 20 chips on the plate and the guacamole wasnât even seasoned, and not even salt and pepper and Mexican seasoning on the table to adjust it.
I ordered the Tampequina my go to when Iâm in Texas and California and I was so disappointed. The meat wasnât seasoned and it tasted like charcoal a little. it wasnât even tasty meat, the rice was just regular plain white rice no seasoning not even salt when I was expecting Mexican rice, the refried beans were only a little tiny teaspoon on the plate and didnât taste like anything, the guacamole was mixed with too much salads and again no seasoning. There was only two small tortillas on the plate, not even in the Mexican little boxes to keep them warm.
No salsa on the table but a little cup of red sauce that was way too spicy. So itâs either didnât put any seasoning at all or did just pour the hot spices in one tiny cup.
The chicken enchiladas Verdes was decent but still to the limit of being too dry, there was barely any salsa verde on it.
I wanted to order a margarita, but when I saw the astronomical prices even for the small one I didnât.
All in all I was very disappointed, last time I had Mexican in Paris was about 18 years ago and I thought it was about time to try again and I shouldnât have.
Donât be fooled by the nice pictures people post, it might looks nice but it doesnât taste like good Mexican food.

Read moreGood quality food in a nice atmosphere. The owner (at least he seemed to be) is friendly and the overall quality of the food is very good. The salsas offered are flavorful. The spicy one has a nice kick. I tried the enchiladas Rojas. Beef enchiladas in red sauce. It was ground beef rather than the usual marinated beef I've typically had in othe enchiladas. Still flavorful, though I personally found it needed the additional kick of the salsas (ordered with chips but reserved a bit for use with the main dish) to really bring the flavor up. I plan to return and try some other dishes. The margarita on the rocks was good. Not particularly large for the price, but sufficient and tasted well made. I've spent more on worse margaritas in Paris for sure. The beans were not typical refried beans,I believe they were black beans instead of pinto. I would have preferred a bit more flavor in the beef, and a little.more sauce with a touch less cheese. The cheese overpowered some of the flavor of the enchilada. Though again, overall the taste and quality was good. A solid location when you are in the mood for some...
Read moreIâm from Texas and eat Mexican at least once a week. If youâre from Texas, you know what good Mexican is... if you havenât had good Mexican food, youâll probably give this place a passing score. However, if your from Texas, a word of advice: eat French food instead.... guacamole was old, it was brown when we got it, definitely not fresh, tasted mushy and no taste. Salsa had zero flavor; but we specially requested spicy salsa, and it wasnât too bad. Margarita on the rocks was actually ice with half frozen mix (we saw her make it) and half some sort of liquid mix- it tasted like watered down margarita....they donât actually make the margarita on request with tequila, lime, triple sec and simple syrup.... finally, we had the chicken fajitas. As with the other items, not a lot of taste. They should use some seasoning on them. The side beans were also definitely from a can....
