Best thick rice noodle I’ve ever had. I’ve never had a fresh cut thick rice noodle before. They are cut by hand with a knife which makes each noodle unique. The older gentleman who prepares the noodles clearly knows what he is doing. He cut the noodles fresh right before we walked in and a few more times while we were dining. The spicy noodle dish is good, and could use a few more veggies. It is a bit meat and noodle heavy for a traditional Chinese restaurant, but I think they’re going with big portions here to appeal to the local taste. There is a bit of a fusion here with Vietnamese cuisine which makes sense given France’s occupation of Vietnam for many years. You’ll find a bit of mint and cilantro common in Viet dishes that would not normally appear in Chinese cuisine. The Bok Choi in the soup was particularly delicious as well. As someone whose family cooks Chinese/Vietnamese cuisine every day and frequents Chinatown restaurants in San Francisco, I wasn’t expecting to find such impressive Chinese food in Paris. Read moreWe orderd the menu B, We just had our entree 2 min ago, I took 1 piece of my 4 gyoza and they already brought our main course. It was slammed on the way to small table. The waiter was arrogant, listening to something with airpods. The tables where only cleaned if you arriveerd. They left your plate on the table, so you would go sooner. This is a eat in 10 minutes and go place.
The noodles itself where fine, not great. The complete wok was a shame. Vegetables and meat/fish still partly cold.
There was no music or nice atmosphere. We shared a table with 2 complete strangers because they wanted to fill all the possible seats.
Don’t go here, it’s not...
Read moreFood was ok but not great either. I mean for the price you can’t really complain. The wok noodles were fine and tasty, but the “toppings” were horrible. The noodles are cooked fresh but I’m not sure about the rest.
I had the wok noodles with pork. The pork was cold and chewy, not what I expected.
My gf had the wok noodles with shrimp and only ate 2 because they were dry and chewy.
Atmosphere: unorganised and all over the place, tables crammed. Noisy and no music, just.. people and kitchen noise.
Again you get what you pay for. Good enough for a quick meal but don’t expect anything...
