Cafe Blanchet Paris — Restaurant in Paris

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were asked if we were here for dinner or dessert. We clearly stated that we wanted dessert. Our group consisted of 4 adults, one infant, and a 4-year-old child.

After waiting for 15 minutes without any service, we had to ask the waiter to come and take our order. His response was to wait. When he finally came, we ordered 2 desserts, which were sufficient for the 4 adults, and 2 beverages. To our surprise, the waiter refused to serve us, insisting that we must order 6 desserts, including one for the infant and the 4-year-old child, or else leave.

The waiter was disrespectful, and we felt mistreated. We had to open and fold two strollers, which took us additional time and effort, before leaving the restaurant.

I had a truly delightful breakfast at Café Blanchet, which included a perfectly flaky croissant, a refreshing glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, and a rich, velvety hot chocolate topped with airy whipped cream. The croissant was light and buttery, the orange juice was vibrant and full of flavor, and the hot chocolate was indulgently smooth. What made the experience even better was the beautiful ambiance of the café. The setting was charming and inviting, with a warm, elegant atmosphere that made the meal feel special. Coupled with the exceptional service, she’s very attentive, friendly, and prompt. This afé provided a truly memorable start to the day. Ordered 2 drinks. Finished our drinks. A full 45 minutes went by with 2 empty glasses on my table, without a single waiter asking if we wanted anything else or if we wanted to pay. Eventually I grabbed a waiter’s attention and asked for the check, but he forgot to bring it. Poor service and ultimately a loss of revenue. They essentially walked away from money that we would have spent on more food & drinks, if anyone had paid...
