Making a reservation online for a special night out with my wife turned out to be a fantastic decision.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that our online reservation was seamlessly integrated into their system. The staff greeted us warmly and confirmed our details without any hitches. It was a relief to know that our reservation was in place and that the team was ready to make our evening unforgettable.
The attention to detail extended beyond the reservation process. The ambiance was inviting and perfect for a romantic dinner. The menu offered a delightful range of choices, and the dishes were prepared with care. We could sense the dedication to quality in every bite.
The staff, aware of our reservation, treated us with genuine warmth and professionalism. Their knowledge of the menu and their ability to cater to our preferences made us feel like valued guests.
Even though we didn't opt for wine, the beverage options were diverse and included beer, enhancing our dining experience. The flavors and pairings were well-thought-out, and it was evident that the team was committed to providing a complete culinary journey.
If you're planning a special night out and want a seamless dining experience, Giorgio at 21 Rue de Charonne is the place to be. From online reservation to the final bite, they truly deliver on their promise of an exceptional evening. We left with smiles on our faces, grateful for a memorable night made possible by a well-executed reservation and a team that genuinely cares about...
Read moreWe went there after a reservation which we had made. When we entered the place we were excited about the atmosphere and we were really looking forward to tasting the plates. So, we asked about the menu and the waiters told us to scan it .We did it but we discovered that there was only a french menu and when we asked for an English one they told us that we don't have this choice. However, the waiter, Alecio tried to explain everything to us and we appreciated this. We chose some things that we tried to remember from his description. The starters were very tasty. As a main course we took pasta and pizza. The pasta was ok but the taste of pizza was really disappointing. It was burnt at the bottom and we couldn't even eat it because the taste of the burnt bread covered everything. We informed the waiter about this problem and he assured us that he will inform his manager. However, his manager tried to avoid our complaint and he didn't do anything. They took our pizza back without any excuse and they asked if we would like a dessert. We ordered a dessert because we really wanted to taste their proposals and it was really nice. Finally, we were charged about everything and they didn't even apologise about this bad experience that we had. Overall, an overpriced restaurant for...
Read moreProbably the worst customer service I have ever faced in Paris. And this is coming from someone who's been living in Paris and used to rude service. Every waiter and waitress were extremely rude. We ordered a pizza and asked if they can cut it in half as me and my partner always like to split and share the other half of our pizzas and the knifes were really not good to cut. We ordered two pizzas and the waitress replied "no you cut it yourself" (in a extremely rude way). Just awful! What's worse is there are several other complains about these rude waitresses but the management is clearly choosing to ignore. Which will eventually cost them their business.
Pizzas were extremely small. I'm sorry but if you charge 15€ for a pizza, please atleast make them the standard Italian pizza size not kids size and market it as "gourmet".
The artichoke dish was awful. Overly fried and tasteless with some greasy mayo.
To make this entire occasion even more bad, they ask to pay via the app which doesn't work and no one is there to help.
