Signature neon blue identifies this as a Boulangerie Graine at the strategic anchor corner of a small virtually pedestrian street recently paved with cobblestones that T’s into another small street with a few restaurants and is an ideal place for bag lunches. It’s modern transparent look showcases a broad selection of patisseries and award winning organic breads (2021) plus commercial size mixers kneading their carefully sourced bio flours from Egreville. The smell of fresh bread is immediate and “baguette de tradition” doesn’t disappoint with its fresh snap crunch and soft crumb inside. Benjamin Vigreaux, brings his knowledge of grains to craft breads that balance fermentation and moisture to foster aromas. Estelle, the other half of the owner duo, brings her experience with patisserie and what caught my attention was the white cognac tarte garnished with a preserved orange twist and dots of raisins. The distinct liquor flavor infused the dessert all the way through. Another unique item was the chocolate chocolate croissant meaning not only was there chocolate bits but a dense chocolate dough. Not quite the flaky pain au chocolate but more like an extra rich dessert pound cake with crust. A sunflower seed coated loaf bread with a center slash was also dense with seeds and flavor and made nice toast. There are many more tempting reasons to go back.

Our favorite bakery in Paris featuring excellent crispy baguette and a range of viennoiseries including the classic pain au chocolate and croissant that will not disappoint. They also put together attractive lunch takeaways and offer original cakes and monster cookies. Very friendly and (sometimes chipper) staff to assist you and you can see the bakers preparing the breads through the clear window at the entrance.

This is an outlet for the Graine boulangerie chain. We tried multiple breads, focaccia bread, cinnamon rolls, chouquettes, and croissants which were freshly made in the morning. I loved the hot croissant straight from the oven. It was made with sour dough. I loved the crispiness and fluffy texture. We bought a few more fresh croissants again.

The staff was very helpful and joyous while we discussed.

We planned to go to another boulangerie but as it was a Monday (most of the boulangeries will be closed on Monday in Paris), we ended up visiting this place with the help from a passer-by. And it was a great choice. We witnessed the love...

The best boulangerie in the 11th Arr. It won a competition in 2021 and the recipes have not changed.

The traditional baguettes are the best I've ever tasted. Croissants and pain au chocolate are melt in your mouth delicious. The poulet sandwiches are delicious, healthy, and filling. Take some with you on daily trips exploring Paris. Prices are very reasonable because Rue Oberkampf is not a tourist trap.

The older female cashier is friendly and allowed me to practice French without interrupting in English. The place is small and there is often a...
