JO&JOE Paris Nation Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Paris

We recently visited the Joe & Joe rooftop, and overall, the experience was pleasant. The place is clean, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the terrace itself is nicely arranged.

However, we found the prices quite high for what’s actually offered. For €10, we got a small bottle of water, three mozzarella sticks, and three small chicken bites — which felt rather overpriced. To add to that, one of the two cherry tomatoes served was overripe, almost spoiled, which didn’t give the best impression in terms of freshness.

Especially considering that nearby restaurants offer a full meal with a starter and dessert for around €14, or a quality burger for €12, this felt like poor value.

Also worth noting: the rooftop doesn’t have any real view. When you go to a rooftop, you usually expect a nice panorama or something visually impressive — but there’s really nothing of the sort here.

In short, it’s a pleasant place, but the pricing feels off, and the experience didn’t fully live up to expectations — particularly for a youth hostel that’s meant to be accessible...

The good: The beds are amazing and the built in blinds are great, everything seems new, close to a metro, soap in the showers, 351 bus to CDG is close

The bad: a towel costs 4€ to rent, the space isn’t exactly geared towards being social, the food at the resto isn’t great, far from the tourist attractions downtown, not everything seems clean (shower grimy), 3PM check in isn’t great but...

J’ai eu un immense coup de cœur pour cette auberge ! Dès qu’on passe la porte, on sent que c’est bien plus qu’un simple lieu où dormir : c’est une vraie expérience. 🎒✨

Le rez-de-chaussée est une grande salle conviviale où l’on peut boire un verre, discuter avec des voyageurs du monde entier ou simplement chiller dans une ambiance chaleureuse. Parfait pour refaire le monde autour d’un cocktail ou d’une bière locale 🍹🍻.

Et que dire du rooftop ? Un spot magique pour admirer le coucher de soleil, écouter un peu de musique ou siroter un verre sous les étoiles… Le genre d’endroit où le temps s’arrête. 🌇🌌

Les chambres sont clean, confortables, et l’accueil est tout simplement au top. On se sent tout de suite chez soi, comme si on faisait partie d’une grande famille. ❤️
