Let me start by saying, this feedback is not related to food or atmosphere as we couldn't dine in.
Our feedback is about experience during making reservations or trying to dine in at the restaurant. Trusting confirmation by gogle of our reservation, I turned up at the restaurant with my wife and kids. Staff told us, that they don't have our confirmation.I asked what should we do about it. Staff told us, we should ask google what is the issue. We informed restaurant we dove almost 45 mins to get to the restaurant. Restaurant staff told that even though we had reservation restaurant had right to deny us the table. And even though if someone is eating food, the restaurant has right to deny them service. And we were asked to check rules ourselves as they don't keep it on website or printed. We left the restaurant after the argument and posted our review about staff being rude. Which they were it doesn't matter weather our reservation information was lost in technology somewhere. 3 hours later, late at night around 22:30 owner called us and started telling us why we were wrong and staff was not wong. And we have a reservation for next day. And why are we posting 1 star review. Plus telling us we truned up late for our reservation which they cancelled although that was factually inaccurate. I couldn't believe that some business owner even if they have a point of view will call customer so late in the night. We picked the call as number was not identifiable. The owner went on to say we are not even customers and he doesn't need people like us customers. We have no customer rights as we have not spend single euro with them. We can understand that they are not happy about our review as they don't agree with it. But that doesn't mean they should start calling and telling that we (non-customers) can't post reviews. Our review is about our experience of making reservation at restaurant. The restaurant has all the rights to provide feedback and comments on our reviews. That' how it works.. We respect right of restaurant staff and owners feedback on our review. That's their right. But asking us to not post review about our experience as we both have different vantage point is not acceptable. We will forget this one as one of of the forgetful experiences. As we say in France...

My experience at Junglii was so appalling that I feel compelled to warn others.
I brought a group of 7 international colleagues here, excited to introduce them to Indian cuisine. What a massive mistake that turned out to be.
To begin with, the ambience was atrociousâdull, unkempt, and utterly uninspiring. It looked more like a neglected canteen than a restaurant that supposedly serves Indian culture on a plate. But the absolute deal-breaker? A cockroach crawling on our table. Yes, right there, bold as ever, scurrying next to our plates.
This wasn't just revoltingâit was deeply humiliating. As an Indian, I wanted my guests to experience the richness and flavor of our food heritage, but instead we were left questioning basic hygiene. If this is whatâs crawling in the dining area, one can only imagine the state of the kitchen.
The food itself? Mediocre at best. Absolutely nothing to write home about. Bland, uninspired, and served with an attitude of indifference. There was no standout dish, no attention to presentation, no real warmth in serviceâjust a rushed, disinterested delivery of food that did not justify the bill or the occasion.
What should have been a proud cultural experience turned into a cringe-worthy embarrassment. My colleagues were polite, but I could see the discomfort and disbelief on their faces. Honestly, I donât blame them.
If you care about hygiene, quality, or even basic decency in service, avoid Junglii at all costs. Shameful....
Read moreThe last time I ate at Junglii was August 2023, but I've enjoyed many meals there with my husband, daughters, and various friends. My husband and I lived in the 17th arrondissement and Junglii was right around the corner from our apartment. We were so into experiencing French food (we were in Paris for 16 months) that I kept passing it by for months after we arrived, even though I love Indian food. One day one of my daughter and I approached the menu outside (she loves Indian food, too) and the manager stepped out with a friendly smile. He was so welcoming we made a reservation for the following night. Long story short, I fell in love with this restaurant. The food is exquisite, the service personable and professional, and it's just a beautiful space to exist in for a few hours. I took visiting friends and family to Junglii when they would come to town, and they all raved about it. My husband I enjoyed many meals there, too. Delicious cocktails (that rose gin and tonic forever), and nothing on the menu ever, ever disappointed. We moved back home at the end of August and I still miss walking into that beautiful space, being welcomed by folks who seemed genuinely pleased to see us, and enjoying a fabulous meal. We are flying back to Paris for a brief visit next summer, and Junglii is at the top of my must-visit...
