This was an absolutely outstanding surprise in the neighborhood. Apparently the owner runs another restaurant in Montmartre. Anyway, the food is nuanced and sophisticated, in an approachable way. The Tarte Tatin d'oignons is absolutely delightful, perfectly caramelized on the outside, with a to-die-for sauce that my normally "keto diet" partner sopped up with bread(!) off my plate. The boeuf to share was solid and on point--good mix of steak and fat, done to true medium rare, with a delicious gravy. The soufflé then blew me away again, perfect crunch and inner softness, paired with a subtle homemade orange-infused vanilla ice cream. The wine list yielded a terrific grand vin from Bourgogne (Savigny-lès-Beaune). Service was so friendly. The ambience is again nuanced and sophisticated in an approachable way. I didn't give that 5 stars because that would suggest a very high end "exclusive" feel. Instead, this is an unassuming gem that you are invited to appreciate over and over again. If I lived in Paris, I would be a...

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. I made a reservation for 9 PM, but when I arrived, I was told that there was no table available for me. They said to wait 10 minutes, but it ended up being a 90-minute wait. It was New Year's Eve and I was stuck at the restaurant for a long time. There were three other tables waiting with me. I didn't bring any snacks with me and ended up being very hungry by the time we were finally seated. Additionally, the price for this experience was 150 euros, which I thought was quite expensive. When we were finally seated, half of the menu was already gone. I would not recommend this restaurant to others due to my...

The reataurant's specialties are good (such as the Onion Tart) but the menu pricing (€55 or €60/person) is exhorbitant for what you get and it is also confusing, even for the staff as we really should have been charged for 2 people (given we ordered for the equivalent of 2) but staff insisted we pay for 3 as we were in fact 3 people. The extra €60 was poor form by them if only out of principle. As for the experience, it was poor to very poor. We felt like we were disrupting the waitress's night and we were only 1 of 3 tables they had during our stay. Overall, food is good but not worth the price nor the hassle of getting to the location (for most people that are...

The food is simply fantastic. Great flavor experiences on each one of the dishes, honoring the French cuisine. From entree to dessert, it is worth every second and every cent. The service is spectacular also. Despite being busy when we visited, they had short times to deliver the food and the waiter was always very attentive. We had kids with us, and they helped us choose appropriate food for them, including slightly modifying the dish to make it appealing for children. The wine suggestion was excellent as well. We all enjoyed the meal and the experience. We would come back anytime.
