Iâve had mochi of different flavors from various places. The best ones are from Atelier de Mochi in Aix en provence, I went there two times last year, every bite was a pure pleasure. I thought La Maison de Mochi would be an equivalent to it and had really high expectations.
For the mochis and drinks that i tried:
GlacĂ© sesame: best of the five, but nothing exceptional, you can have the same at Picard and Muji. GlacĂ© Yuzu, red bean, normal yuzu: okayish, I do not recommend. GlacĂ© matcha: big disappointment, it doesnât even have the taste of matcha. Sakura matcha latte: too much foam, lack of taste. Tea: it was good.

There were a free table for 2 and one for 3 people. Space for everyone.. so we thought. The 2 waiters made the 2 people sit on the table for 3. Resulting in us having no other option but to leave. We even pointed out it made no sense but the two girls didn't even answer..they were just giggling and looking at the floor like they were 2 years old. This place is so elegant and I love that they JUST do mochi with tea/coffee and nothing else.
I tried the black sesame, yuzu, gingerbread and red bean mochi. My favourite was red bean and black sesame because of the unique taste!
