Our hotel was on the same street as this beautiful place, so we came down for breakfast every day, and multiple other stops -- maybe 5 or 6 visits over the three days.
We had quiche (tomate & courgette), eclair café, patte d'ours, chausson aux pommes, tarte citron, fournaise chevre, croque monsieur, and of course baguettes. Every single thing we had over the three days was exceptional and very reasonably priced -- by home standards as well as tourist standards.
All of the staff were very friendly (and accommodating of our questionable attempts at ordering in French).

I tried to pay with my card for the plain croissant but unfortunately this was not possible as minimum spend for card payment is 6€. So I asked the sales assistant to hold my plain croissant while I look for coins (1,20 €). I had 1,17 € , I was short of 0,03€, so I told her it is either this and I bring 0,03€ later as I live very close by or we use my card. She made me feel very unconfortable and ridiculed in front of other customers and declined the coins. Really??? 0.03 €. I will not be coming back to a place with such a bad customer...
Read moreMy family and I made it a point to eat here every day. The baguettes were delicious as well as the ham and egg sandwiches that used the baguerres. My kids and I all agreed it was one of the best sandwiches we've eaten despite being very simple! We also tried 12 different pastries over 4 days and found them all delicious, especially the cream puffs. Service and hopitality was great too despite our limited French skills.
