This is truly and undoubtedly the most exquisite example of excellence in plant-based dining.

From the moment of entering and being greeted by assuredly warm and friendly co-owner, David, you know that this is somewhere special and yet understated in its green credentials.

We first dined during a busy Sunday lunch and were immensely impressed throughout with the spectrum of tastes, flavours, presentation and charming creativity of dishes.

A humble green smoothie emerged without ice, with a glass straw, brimming with a delicacy of vegetable revelations that are hard to balance and yet worked beautifully.

Mains looked as lovely as they tasted and desserts guided us to their healing heart through immaculate presentation.

We were so delighted with the initial experience that we booked to return for our final evening's stay in Paris, for dinner, and let me assure you that it was every bit as brilliant as our debut experience.

A great restaurant should, if possible, be put to the test on more than one occasion and Potager excels for dinner or lunch and probably around the clock!

On our second immersion into green-glee, we enjoyed starters that were every bit as delightful and delicious as our mains, replicating the mains enjoyed from our Sunday thrill! Nothing had changed and everything critical had been retained to please eyes, nose and stomach, alike.

Special thanks to David for being so charming and interesting to talk with as well as generous in being so attentively helpful; adjusting dishes slightly to accommodate our dietary requirements. And, gratitude must be extended to his delightful, polished and lovely waitress, Louise, in addition, for helping to make both visits special and memorable.

Potager proves that Paris can and should boast fine dining in very different ways from traditional French cuisine and yet boast all of the culture's laudable credentials thus leaving you with Proustian pleasures...

I recently had the opportunity to visit this restaurant, and I must say that my experience was unfortunately very disappointing. While the food was of good quality, my mood was greatly dampened by the behavior of the young blonde waitress.

After we had paid, we informed the waitress that we had ordered an Uber and would be waiting for it. Instead of showing understanding or offering an alternative solution, she was extremely rude and insisted that we leave the restaurant immediately. Also even though we still had food on our table, it was cleared away without asking if we finished it.

The way we were treated did not make us feel welcome at all. The waitress conveyed the impression that she considered herself superior and did not value our presence. It is unacceptable to treat guests so thoughtlessly and deny them basic courtesy and respect.

It is regrettable that we were treated like beggars right after paying. The waitress was not willing to calm us down for even a few minutes and show us that she appreciated us as customers and understood our needs. It is unbelievable that she didn't even want to let us sit for another three minutes to wait for our Uber driver.

Overall, I believe the waitress should reconsider her attitude and approach to her job. Hospitality and respect towards guests should be top priorities. It is disappointing to be treated this way as a paying customer, and I would hesitate to visit this restaurant again or recommend it to friends and acquaintances.

It is important for restaurant staff to understand that service is not only about the quality of the food but also about how guests are treated. The dining experience should be pleasant and inviting, and I hope that the restaurant's management takes this into account and takes measures to avoid such incidents...

This little corner restaurant is cozy and elegantly decorated. The tables have individual lights and live plants and the lighting is perfect. The menu is artistically designed with detailed descriptions and offers wine pairings for each dish. I chose the roasted sweet potato starter with a light white wine after the chef very kindly took time to explain why he believes in that combination. He was professionally attending his floor all evening, chatting with his customers and offering recommendations and information, and was a joy to interact with. I couldn’t quite believe it when I had my first bite. So much depth and flavor! Wow. Just incredible. Even the bread they put on the table is extra special, moist and flavorful. I had the squash curry and it was perfectly portioned, delicious with all the right texture. It was not spicy in the heat sense but spices are present and elevated with a gorgeous subtly within the sauce. That was lovely with a white wine as well. I concluded with the chocolate mousse and a glass of red which the chef suggested may be an elegant match and he was absolutely right. The mousse is perfectly sweetened. It just melts in your mouth -like a cloud, the chef mentioned- and wraps nicely around the crunch of the nuts. I was so very impressed and have already made plans to return to try another series of courses. This is most definitely a place to come out of your way for if you are a plant-based culinary...

Your search for the best plant-based restaurant in Paris has just ended - this is the place. Le Potager de Charlotte is in a league of its own and I am here to confirm that the eagle has landed - mission accomplished folks. Of course there are plenty of vegan burger and sandwich joints around Paris, and nothing against them - there's a time and place for every desire, but if you want something fresh, delicious, and better than what you will find in your own hometown, then here it is. The sauces were so good that we kept ordering more baguettes to sop them up and clean our plates. The room is cozy and spacious. The seating is very comfortable. And the staff could not be nicer or more helpful. So in terms of ambiance, you can have a very enjoyable and memorable experience. I would say Le Potager de Charlotte is perfect for special occasions, but the prices are not high, so it's also the kind of local spot you'd come to on a regular basis. If you're lucky, you will even see Charlotte herself, checking in to make sure everything is just right. And the neighborhood is lovely to walk around before or after the meal. We can't wait to come back!

As a vegan who travels a lot, Le Potager de Charlotte was such a delight on a recent girls’ trip to Paris (where I was the only vegan of five ladies). We arrived into paris on a Wednesday evening and the Owner and chef, David welcomed a late reservation with no hesitation. Not only was the Le Potager de Charlotte immaculate, sophisticated and beautifully designed but so was the food. Together with his mother (pause for “ahh” 🥰) run a quaint but stylish vegan restaurant. The food presentation was equally amazing with the most intentional flavors. It’s no wonder chef David has two Paris locations, and likely to have more to come. Best way to eat food is when you can taste the love and thought that goes into it. This is a must, not only for vegans but for any food lovers or foodies. I can’t wait to come back!
