La Table des Copains - Cuisine Française — Restaurant in Paris

This is my first 1 star review but I can’t lie. We started off well where the young gentleman was kind enough to explain the menu in English as it was only in French.

We settled on the zucchini courgettes and tuna carpaccio.

Courgettes were nearly burnt but we didn’t complain. Tuna was yummy.

My husband had the lobster Roll, which, in the midst on my disaster, I forgot to taste.

I ordered the Hanger steak. (Bavette).

I am a meat person and love meat.

This meat smelt like it had gone bad. I tasted it and Thought it might smell bad because it’s not Wagu, but next bite and my fingers smelt like dead meat. It tasted bitter, so I stopped eating.

I politely asked the waiter if the meat was fresh. Both he and the female said yes, and called away and didn’t ask if I am ok.

The meat was left as is and at the end, they asked if I enjoyed my non eaten meal and I replied ,No.

The waiter said he would tell chef and brought the bill.

Both hubby (had an ounce), and I felt unwell that night. So disappointed with the service and care factor zero I received.

We walked across to the Dome cafe and had the yummiest MillleFeux to make up for the no dinner.

A Fantastic Lunch at La Table Des Copains!

I had the pleasure of having lunch at La Table Des Copains recently, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience!

This place is incredibly popular, and it’s easy to see why. A table reservation is a must, as the restaurant was buzzing with happy diners. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfectly suited for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

The food was absolutely delicious—every bite was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen takes great pride in what they serve.

The staff were equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. Their warm hospitality added a special touch to the meal.

I can’t recommend La Table Des Copains enough! Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for a great...

The ambiance is really nice, and the table setting is spacious. The first part of the evening was cheerful. After that things got worse. Starters were tasteful , but the main course was simply uneatable , I ordered the octopus and it was so tough, there was clearly something wrong. They handled the situation by taking the plate away without saying anything, it was only at the end of the diner that we found out that I didn’t have to pay for the dish because also 2 other clients had the same complaint that evening(!!) So that was correct, but also a missed opportunity, why not offer another dish to make...
