1st time was great, the steak was just ok, but i thought it was normal for France, after reading the reviews i realized it should be better. So first time it was OK, we were accomodated quick, got good suggestions and the waiter spoke english and spanish, he was really nice. Anyway, we kinda liked, but after today we won't here anymore 2nd time was not so good, the tiramisu was like vanilla mouse with a small piece of bread at the bottom, the waiter did not care at all for us(different person than the first time) we had to call him to order, which we get it he was serving bigger tables. Anyway where it became weird is after paying the check he asked if i wanted the beer, i said i was done, i could only drink a third of the tall glass, then he said I could take it, i asked if it was OK, he said "yes, no problem" then my wife asked if he was serious, he said yes, we asked if it was allowed, he said yes, so we walked out, with the beer on the stroller. IK made sure people saw it and was looking at them so they see me, i thought, well what a nice souvernir, however i didnt want the beer, like i said i was done, We exited the place, and as we walked out i poured the beer in one of the plants and then i heard someone, I'm going to call him the manager who came out yelling messieu, messieu, since i was ahead of my wife while i was pouring the beer on the plant, he stayed talking to my wife and she told him the waiter had given it to us eve after we had asked if it was OK. Then he said i need my glass, so i handed him the empty glass, because i thought it was something memorable but only had a date so i gave it back and we walked off. The experience was super weird, not sure if the waiter was setting us up, there is poor...
Read moreLe Petit Bouillon is undoubtedly a top choice for budget-friendly dining in Paris. It's a incredible how they manage to deliver such delectable dishes at such affordable prices. The service is exceptional, and the ambiance transports you back to an enchanting era of the past of the city.
While the wait can be a bit lengthy, it's undoubtedly worth it once you sink your teeth into their simple yet incredibly flavorful dishes. Personally, I couldn't get enough of their fish and snails, though I found the soup unconventional for my taste. However, their creme brulee was a heavenly delight.
The prices are incredibly reasonable, making it a must-visit spot in Paris. I highly recommend experiencing the inviting atmosphere and indulging in their savory offerings. Plus, the rave reviews don't lie - it's an unforgettable dining experience that won't...
Read moreI went to Le Petit Bouillon Vavin after reading all the reviews thinking it would be worth it but I was utterly disappointed. Let me start with the good points about the place; the locale is great, the interiors is pretty neat, the staff are very friendly and the food is quite cheap when compared to many “It” places. The food though was not good at all. I’d be lying if I call it average. It was below average. We ordered a beef bourguignon, salmon with pilaf, lasagna with a side salad and an onion soup. I’m not sure if it was just that day or if it’s normally like this, but I was thoroughly disappointed with the food. The rice was severely undercooked, the beef really hard to chew and the lasagna was just bland. The onion soup was good but was...
