Le Cristal — Restaurant in Paris

My family and I had gone here on our last day of our stay in Paris, which was also my dad's birthday. We were looking for something quick and yummy to eat before our flight back home and we are all so happy we decided to come here. Food was great, and came really fast, but service was even better.

Bartender (who told me to refer to him as Cailloux) was really friendly and invited my dad for a Madelaine shot as soon as he knew it was his birthday. He also made sure we had everything we needed and was kind enough to take pictures with a "happy birthday" sign that was there coincidentally.

While looking for a last meal in Paris, I ended up in this place. I couldn't have asked for a better place before leaving Paris! The burgers are amazing: everything is made at the moment and the products come from local supplier. The offer for the burger with the fries and the 50 cl beer is something that will make you question the number of burgers you can eat in a row. The staff is super friendly, they speak English and they make you feel at home with everything they do. 10/10 in every category! The location is perfect because you are basically 15 minutes of walking from the tour Eiffel but you don't end up paying a lot for average food like other...

I was extremely disappointed with my third visit. The server cleared my table and threw away my food, even though I left my belongings on the table to indicate I was still seated. I had only stepped out to smoke for a few minutes (4-6 minutes, to be exact). When I returned and asked about my food and belongings, the bartender told me they don't hold tables for long periods. I was shocked! Is it really your bar's policy to throw away a customer's food and belongings? They simply handed me back my things as if nothing happened, without even acknowledging the food that was discarded. I'm appalled by the actions of your staff and will not be returning. ...
