Starving Club - Pasteur — Restaurant in Paris

Food: We went with pulled pork burgers. Got them quite fast and it looked good, unfortunately the meat was way too salty (and I don't mind salty food). We told how we felt and we could get anything else, so we wanted to try a regular beef patty burger. While it was ok in every sense, it was not on the level of taste we expected from one of the highest rated places of this type in Paris. French fries were great though!

Service: Staff was really nice, they spoke english and were very pleasant and helpful, food was delivered quickly, plus we got drinks for free for our troubles.

It is a nice setting for a dinner. However , don’t go there If you’re starving. The food is so expensive and not that good’s to be honest. (We directly went to another restaurant after leaving, not even joking). K wouldn’t have complained if the food was good or if the experience was nice… I took a hotdog which was supposed to be homemade but the bread seemed off, it was not fresh. I honestly would’ve preferred an ikea hotdog, ten times cheaper and the same size. The personnel was not kind, kind of condescending which set the mood wrong since the beginning. Would not recommend, Paris is full of amazing places go...

Premier point décevant : Nous avions réservé par télephone quelques jours avant notre visite, et si aucune table n'avait pas été libre à l'intérieur lorsque que nous sommes arrivés, nous aurions dû manger à l'extérieur...ce que j'ai du mal à concevoir car soit on accepte les resevation et on bloque une table pour la réservation, soit on ne prend pas de réservation et les clients ne sont pas decus, ils savent à quoi s'attendre. Deuxième point décevant : La nourriture. J'ai moyennement apprécié mon burger (viande pas assez cuite et trop assaisonnée à mon goût), je n'ai pas specialement apprécié les gyozas où je n'ai absolument pas retrouvé les légumes, les falafels étaient secs...cependant les frites et les tender nuggest étaient appréciables. Les cookies ne sont plus chauffés et ne sont plus servis avec le caramel..dommage! Suite à la visualisation de stories Instagram, je constate qu'en réalité les cookies sont toujours vendus avec le caramel au beurre salé, sauf que je n'y ai eu pas le droit ce weekend.

Pour le prix des plats, ce n'est pas vraiment extra. Je suis réellement déçue de mon repas de ce week-end!

Les gros points positifs sont le service, le personnel est vraiment compétent, serviable et très sympathique. Et les cocktails, boissons sont vraiment extra également.

Je retournerai chez Starving Club, mais seulement pour...
