Le Grand B — Restaurant in Paris

This restaurant makes ok pizzas, but they are openly deceiving customers and should be reported to the French consumer authorities. They advertise a “Happy Hour” from 4 PM to 2 AM, but in reality, there is no Happy Hour at all. Their sign claims pizzas and cocktails are offered at Happy Hour prices (see attached photo), yet when the bill arrives, everything is charged at the regular menu price—even after the waiter confirmed the Happy Hour tariff.

When questioned, they simply say there is nothing they can do because they are not the owners. This is not only false advertising, for which they could rightly be sued, but also outright theft, as they are deliberately misleading and robbing customers.

I went there last night and was left completely shocked—not because I couldn’t pay, but because I felt cheated and robbed. The way the staff tried to justify this scam was totally unprofessional. Be very cautious with this restaurant. It is daylight robbery and should be reported to the authorities.

Ce restaurant fait de ok pizzas, mais il trompe ouvertement les clients et devrait être signalé aux autorités de protection des consommateurs en France. Ils annoncent un « Happy Hour » de 16h à 2h du matin, mais en réalité, il n’y a aucun Happy Hour. Leur panneau affirme que les pizzas et cocktails sont proposés à un tarif Happy Hour (voir photo ci-jointe), mais lorsque l’addition arrive, tout est facturé au prix normal du menu — même après que le serveur a confirmé le tarif Happy Hour.

Lorsqu’on leur demande des explications, ils répondent qu’ils n’y peuvent rien car ils ne sont pas les propriétaires. Ce n’est pas seulement de la publicité mensongère, passible de poursuites, mais aussi du vol pur et simple, car ils trompent et dépouillent les clients.

J’y suis allé hier soir et j’en suis ressorti complètement choqué — non pas parce que je ne pouvais pas payer, mais parce que je me suis senti trompé et volé. La façon dont le personnel a tenté de justifier cette arnaque était totalement non professionnelle. Soyez très vigilants avec ce restaurant. C’est du vol en plein jour et cela devrait être signalé...

We ordered through Ubee Eats- com luc lac. On one of the orders, we asked for white rice. The order arrived and on the receipt it said "no white rice". Can't they communicate to us before accepting the order?? the person has dietary restrictions for tomatoes so the order was useless.

The food. IT IS BLAND. I'm Asian, I grew up in Asia, eating Asian food, especially Vietnamese, and this isn't that. The beef is bland, there's no salt and pepper which is usually an accompanying dip for luc lac, and the rice is undercooked.

What a waste of €30 for us.

It was convenient choice for us as it was close to our Airbnb, and we decided to check it out on our last night in Paris. The place was packed with people and lively music, creating a bustling and energetic atmosphere. The staff was were very helpful and impressively quick, especially given how busy the place was. The food, however, was just okay – nothing remarkable but good enough for a casual stop.
