We had high hopes for Le Haveli, but our experience was a bit of a hit and miss. The biggest issue was the indoor environment — it was 29°C outside, and the restaurant felt stifling. No fans, no air-conditioning, and when we asked, the manager/owner mentioned it hadn’t been turned on and might be broken. It was genuinely hard to sit and enjoy a meal in that kind of heat.
The wait times didn’t help either — it took 15–20 minutes just for someone to take our order, and about 35–40 minutes for the food to arrive. We also ordered dal makhani but were served yellow dal tadka instead, which was disappointing. The garden salad came with some kind of sauce mixed in, which made it taste like a Subway salad bowl — not what we expected.
That said, the one saving grace was the staff — the manager/owner in particular was incredibly warm and friendly, and it’s clear they care about the customer experience even if the operations were a bit off that day.
We’d consider coming back, but only when the weather is cooler — it’s just too...

I definitely overate but it was so delicious I didn’t want to leave much. Rice prob ok between two. My tikka masala was spicy but not very spicy as the menu said - a good thing!
