Le Kibele — Restaurant in Paris

It was an awful experience. We were looking somewhere nice to celebrate our anniversary. Then found this on google search. When we arrived I don’t like the atmosphere of the restaurant at all. It doesn’t look same as it was on google search. There was only one waiter which doesn’t know what she was doing. Meal came in a unsatisfactory style. Half of the meal was cold half was hot. The meat wasn’t cooked properly! When we complain about it the owner didn’t want to own it and blamed us we’re doing this not to pay for it😡 I can’t advice anyone enough not to choose this restaurant!!! I've been to Kibele a few times. I thought of it as a spot for a few mezzes and a drink before heading home. I find them overpriced considering the quality of their food. Böreks are very greasy, portions are rather small and the service is mediocre. During my last visit I had a plate of 2 tiny böreks with a drink and I was supposed to pay 9€ but they took 10€ cause they do not accept card for less than 10 ! That information is not marked anywhere and taking 1€ more for that is quite outrageous. In Turkey it would cause a crisis honestly.

I must say, in Paris there are a lot better Turkish...

First time visiting here and also first time watching stand up comedy their last Sunday night Thomas Henry. Their service was kindly and respectful. They aren’t being racist/ disrespectful with tourists like so many other French restaurants. They have kinda bunker room underneath, I’m having a claustrophobic moment but then I’m okay by sitting near the stairs and enjoying the comedy night show. Will be back again to trying...
