Me and my Husband were visiting Paris from Canada for the first time and I thought of trying Indian food. It was night around 8:0 pm, we went inside the restaurant, server immediately came running towards us and in a shouting way told us to wait outside or try some other restaurant. Which I thought was extremely rude and disrespectful as well as unwelcoming for anyone. With all due respect to all the countries but honestly being from Canada it felt us too much as in Canada customer service and politeness is our first priority. As we were not much aware of the area we waited there for 20 mins after that the server let us in. He gave a seat in a corner and the corners were very much dirty, the tables were not clean, the glasses were full of finger prints etc.The total seating area was extremely small and noisy. Very poor customer service, server were not attentive to the customers.
We ordered a Veg Curry and Naan bread. While eating we found a hair in naan bread, we immediately showed that to the server and left from the restaurant right away as were not comfortable eating there due to hygiene reasons. The server didn't say us a word and didn't thought guilty about the hair found in the naan bread. I will not recommend this restaurant to any visitor who are looking for Indian food in Paris.

Read moreGiving a 1 star because of the sevice. We visited here on May 30th to have dinner. The moment we arrived the place, the first question waitor asked was 'Are you from India, our food is prepared to serve locals so you won't get authentic experience here'. We live in the UK for a while so we know the nature of food. And being brown does not mean us as Indians. We are originally from Sri Lanka and so sad to be treated like this from our own kind. We should have left the moment he asked us that question. This is the first time we have this kind of bad experience in a restaurant. Then due to size of large portions we experienced in Europe we only ordered a curry, rice and naan. As we haven't ordered another curry dish the waitor was laughing to himself and act like we are beggers who came for free food. The way he treated others were so different to how he treated us. If you only want to serve locals please display it on your door and ask others to leave. The food was amazing so you should work on your customer skills to get proper ratings.
I do not recommend going this place to those who have brown skin and do not speak french. Others go for it. You will be...
Read moreWow. Excellent curry house. Very friendly, polite and accommodating. 9 in our group and didn't book, but this cosy curry house were happy to accept us. French and English spoken. Onion bahjis are French style (rings in batter) but very tasty. Was recommended the chicken tikka masala and was asked if I would like it spicy and when it arrived, if it wasn't spicy enough they would be happy to make it more spicy. It arrived and needed to be more spicy and the manager was more than happy to oblige. This time it was just right. About as spicy as a UK madras. The manager explained the French do not really go for spicy so sometimes the customer needs to request more slice and be prepared that, although the chef is happy to oblige, the meal may have to be returned to the kitchen a couple of times, just to ensure the spice level is to the customers liking. We could smell the food cooking as we approached and it smelled great and we were not disappointed. Strongly recommend if you are wanting a very good curry. The manager trained in the UK and that is a great place to learn curry making....
