Gorgeous little cafe which offers delicious pastries alongside a range of traditional breads. They also serve simple hot sandwiches or salads alongside hot or cold drinks for an eat in lunch. Seating area is small but considering you are a stone’s throw from the Eiffel Tower it is a fantastic find. We had a panini and hot dog - the latter was served with the cheese sauce topping from croque monsieur, delicious. We also had a macaron (surely a must in Paris) which was served with chantily cream and fresh fruit) and a ‘part de tarte’ - a traditional caramelised fruit tart with a choice of pear, apricot or apple. We then bought some mini macarons to take away - a bargain for €1.40 each or slightly discounted if bought in boxes of 6 or 12.

We found this place on Google, it was listed as one od the best places to eat croissants and I confirm that it's true, also, other pastries are not worse. I personally LOVED croissant and palmier ( sweet croissant but more crunchy). Croissant is nothing like you can get at a Starbucks ( yes we literally tried croissants from 2 different Starbucks) you really feel the buttery taste and the crispness. Why 4 stars? Staff is very glum. I literally watched them to see if they were glum only to us but no, I haven't seen them smile for a split second or even say something nice to customers during the time we spent there. I hope they can find a place where they work happily at in the future...

Great place to have breakfast and brunch!!! This bakery has many reasons to be voted for 5 stars: - Great variety of pastries (Try the almond croissant) - Vintage environment reminding something from old Paris times - Great location near the Eiffel Tower - The staff is very kind and helpful - There are tables to eat in, which is something you can’t find easily in Paris - Fresh & tasty bread baguette It was my first experience eating in Paris and I am happy for that!

This place was highly recommended on multiple sites, but I was extremely disappointed.

I personally make homemade sourdough breads, and so was excited to try their seige bread - pain sur leven. It was the most expensive bread I bought during my trip in Paris (2.90 euro), but unfortunately also by far the worst - dense, flavourless, and poor/chewy/sticky texture in the core.

Other reviewers seem to praise their pastries and sandwiches, so perhaps sourdough breads simply aren't their focus, but for the price and renown, I expected a certain standard.

It's situated in a swanky part of town, and the prices are much more expensive than at other boulianges. Do...
