I had the pleasure of dining at Le Nusa for lunch during my trip to France last month. Upon entering, I was captivated by the bold Indonesian decorations. The attention to detail was top tier, the walls adorned with intricate woodwork and even the utensils in the shape of wayang.

We each ordered the lunch special; which included an appetizer, main dish, dessert, and tea or coffee. The value for the quantity of food we got was impressive. None of the dishes disappointed. We really enjoyed the martabak; it’s rare to find a good one outside of Indonesia. The gado-gado was plated in a fun, unique way we’d never seen before; though the flavors were average. The rendang was on the wetter side, which I personally do prefer, and the cumin-forward flavor profile was pleasant. I am not a big fan of klepon but I enjoyed this one because it had a nice texture to it. Overall, the ikan bakar and bebek were the favorites at the table.

Our server Nella made the experience memorable, giving friendly and thoughtful service. She was running the front of house with grace.

I would recommend Le Nusa if you’re seeking delicious Indonesian plates in a fine dining setting. There’s something for everybody, from those who want to just try Indonesian food for the first time to those who are craving the...

It's a great ambiance and service. However, tastewise isn't as great as the fine dining ambiance. I have to say, "Promoting Indonesian culture is great, but it misses the originality of the flavour"

As an Indonesian descent who lives in the Netherlands, I'm quite spoiled by the varieties of Indonesian foods in the country.

I can't compare this with Paris. I don't even think they know where Indonesia is except Bali.

However, if they target this restaurant to Indonesians who visit Paris, they need to bring the flavour to cater to the Indonesian palate.

We shared Sate Ayam as we had food previously.

The sate taste is far from what I can call as Sate Ayam. The peanut sauce tasted like a peanut butter with kecap manis. It's has no other flavours. I'm not sure if the fried peanuts were old or the oil to fry the peanuts was old but tasted a bit rancid.

We got two complimentaries "urap and bakso broth" Urap was good, and the broth is good too. But I had better ones for both.

If they want to bring this as a fine dining Indonesian restaurant, then taste wise has to be leveled up without losing the...

We went for lunch. Greeted by an unfriendly female waitress. It was unwelcoming. After we had a long flight and it was super cold outside, we wanted a comfort indonesian food. But she spoiled our holiday mood. She didn’t let us enter the restroom while we were waiting for our table. Shockingly, she said it’s for ‘our customers only’. For that kind of attitude, we thought the food at least must be good but we were wrong.

After we waited outside for our table. Finally our table was set. We were disappointed. The food was subpar. Nothing was memorable. Food presentation looked like it was made by a student. Alas, we waited so long for the first course to arrive. For 30€ ++ per person we expected something.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The food isn't very good. And the female waitress is...

I dont know why people here said very good service, because our experience is very terrible eating at Le Nusa. The waitress (Tall Chinese Girl) very very rude when ask us to choose the menu in hurry, we really dont understand why because we just came in and just sitted. At the end we finally know perhaps she wnat us make a mistake to choose the expensive menu because there are two option to share and individual, we intend to choose individual menu but she prder for us to share menu which price more than double. But for us it’s not really matters the worst part is that she is very rude in her manner and words, this restaurant will nor going forward if they keep this waiter. The food is average and expensive compare to other Indonesian resto in Paris Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED and will not comeback here

Le Nusa was undoubtedly one of the highlights during our time in Paris. The food and service exceeded all expectations, starting with the warm welcome from the staff and owner, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Their extensive range of Indonesian cuisine, spanning appetizers, main dishes, desserts, and beverages, left us thoroughly impressed. Every dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The restaurant boasts ample seating and a cozy interior, making it an ideal spot for gatherings with friends and family. During our travels, Le Nusa made us feel right at home. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience in Paris.
