We had the pleasure of visiting this delightful restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal.
The owner was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It's clear he takes great pride in his restaurant, and his kindness added a special touch to our visit.
As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. We started with a French onion soup that was rich and flavorful, followed by a plate of perfectly grilled meats that were cooked to perfection. To top it off, we had freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, which was wonderfully refreshing and a perfect complement to the meal.
This restaurant is a gem, and we can't recommend it enough. If you're looking for amazing food, a cozy atmosphere, and exceptional service, this is the...
Read moreFound this place in an Easyjet magazine. Although it's just round the corner from Sacre-Cœur, it's not half as touristy as Montmartre. Quite small, but there were only two of us and we arrived at the beginning of lunch (12:15 or so) so we were able to get a seat at the front. It was delicious - tender chicken in a spiced sauce packed with green beans, mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, olives and the odd bit of apple. Really filling and tasty, and good value too. Menu isn't very descriptive, though - you might want to check if you have allergies, because everything is simply listed as "chicken couscous" or "chicken tagine". Quick service, too, and the mint tea...
Read moreMy favorite place to get couscous in Paris. I first came here in 2008 and since I have used it as my standard starting point for an evening whenever someone comes to visit me in Paris. Afterwards you can walk up the stairs just outside the restaurant and see the Sacré Cœur and a beautiful view of Paris. Plus the food is awesome!
My standard orders are the couscous with two meats: brochette d'agneau (lamb skewers) and merguez (spicy sausage). Otherwise I order the assiette grillades (it's called something like that) which is the same meats but with salad and fried potatoes. The tajines are also quite good! Make sure you ask for the harissa if you like some spice! The place is a little rough around the edges but that is what...
