Wow! It's a pleasure to write my review about the Babalou Italian restaurant in the beautiful Montmarte area of Paris. The restaurant is very small and old, which only add to it's charm. There are outside tables available as well to be enjoyed during good weather. Now let me tell you about the food, are you ready? It's fantastic! I'm a glutton for punishment and always find myself regretful after ordering lasagna as most Italian restaurants. Not this time. This time I was overjoyed to finally have had a delicious, homemade tasting, fantastic plate of lasagna! I'm a picky eater and rarely finish a plate of food anywhere. This time was the exception. Not only did I finish it, but after giving my son a forkful of my lasagna, he also tried to get at my plate as he is also a fussy eater, but loved the lasagna as well. Bottom line, wonderful quaint little restaurant, exceptional food ( my husband had the veggie pizza and it was also amazingly delicious!), lovely and prompt service, I will return and encourage anyone who is visiting Paris to make a reservation and enjoy! Sidenote, it is a short, walking distance to the Sacré-Cœur church. After our beautiful meal we walked to the church and had an amazing view of Paris city lights and the Eiffel tower. Magic and to a...

We are all human We all want to be treated good .It's true to learn a particular language and culture if you visiting one's country but the wars were over long back and we are still on hating each other Well if you are visiting this place make sure you are french or White for...
Read moreThis was literally the worst restaurant I've ever been in my whole life. The staff was rude, and not friendly at all. I went there with two friends, but I was the only one to have dinner, because they ate before we met, and the owner told us that we would have to take away the pizza, because only one person would eat there. So I pay for the food (wich was an extremely salty and not tasty at all pizza), for the atmosphere of the place and I couldn't even sit on a table to have my dinner on a rainy night? Right after we ordered, the waiter brought me the bill, and asked me to pay right away, so when the pizza arrived, we had to leave walking with the wet pizza box on hand. I've never been treated that way by any restaurant I've ever been, and I've ben in some very bad ones. I definetly DON'T recommend this place AT ALL. If there was an option to give 0...
