The restaurant is overpriced and the cuisine quite ordinary. I am a foodie and spend a LOT of time in Italy - so I consider myself quite qualified to judge quality and authenticity.
The portions are very small and the prices very high for such plain, uninteresting fare. Main courses served without any garnishes, just straight up. My friend had dorade with tomatoes and olives. It was served without anything else, not even a leaf of salad. The pasta portions are minuscule. I had linguine with a sea bass ragout. The linguine were industrial and there was so little sea bass that it was hardly recognizable as such (sort of crumbs of sea bass, not even a quarter of a small filet). It was prepared correctly but of no real interest - I can do much better at home - AND my pasta cost 26€ (outrageous for such an ordinary, small dish). No bread offered at the table either. If we had not ordered dessert, we would have left hungry. The coffee was terrible not at all worthy of an Italian restaurant.
The staff is nice and efficient but I will NOT be going back - there are many truly good Italian restaurants in Paris now - best give them...
Read moreTruly phenomenal meal for our last night in Paris! If you are on the fence about getting Italian in Paris, I would say 100% go for it. We made a reservation 20 minutes before heading over (7pm on a Saturday) but by the end of the night the place was packed.
Absolutely everything was excellent. The cacio e pepe was perfect, the spaghetti was so light and delicious (and the person who ate it typically hates how heavy red sauce is), the panciotti pesto ravioli was also amazing and no one at our table minus my husband even likes pesto typically. We were all sharing food and tasting each others and there was not a bad meal between us.
If you’re American, the meal takes longer to prepare than we are used to but that is to be expected everywhere in Europe. Only one in our group spoke a bit of French and no issues. The waiters were so friendly and accommodating.
Truly so happy this was our last meal in Paris...

My favourite Italian in Paris (I am Italian) with authentic dishes cooked to perfection. Never a complaint on the 100 times I have visited❤️.
The staff are fantastic and always accommodated tables at awkward times, often without reservation, which speaks to the flexibility and customer focussed service on offer🙏
Gaetano always adapted the specials board and I particularly enjoyed the asparagus bruschetta at the heart of the season which we tweaked together❤️
Could not recommend you anywhere better in the city for food!
Always great wines on offer and I would often have half portions of a primo...
