Stay away if you donât want to be scammed and ambushed. Honestly seemed like a nice place in the beginning but after we ordered sat down and got our orders we were told you have to order every hour or pay a co working fee or basically get out. We were surprised because nobody told us that when we ordered and there was no sign. Totally understand if thatâs the policy but if you wait until people order, sit down and get their laptops out, itâs just an ambush. Had starred this place on my map as a frequent to-go cafe but, too bad, never again.
Edit after owner response: what a joke Iâm engaging in an argument on google review đ I feel the need to point out no such sign existed when I visited the place 2 months ago, and no one informed me about your policies, very contrary to what you said. Which was the whole point of this comment. Of course you can have whatever policy you want, itâs your cafe, the pathetic part is your tendency to be shady about it and scam people. Honestly donât need to show me any photos that didnât exist when...
Read moreI canât say enough good things about SAFE. I rely on co-working spaces for my job and this really is a wonderful spot to work and spend time. It feels distinctly different from other co-working places around Paris, which can tend to feel overly crowded and cramped because they are packed with too many tables. Not only are their great amenities for working (good coffee/drinks, strong WiFi, outlets, snacks), but itâs a very social space full of nice interesting people because it is also a tattoo studio, nail studio and concept store.
I usually never leave reviews but many of the comments seem to forget the fact that SAFE is a small business that canât support âcampingâ at one table for many hours while only ordering one beverage. Instead of charging a fixed rate by the hour, like other co-working places, they just ask that customers order a drink, or a cookie etc, if they are going to stay for an extended period. The policy is there to ensure great woman-owned spaces like this can...
Read moreWe visited a friend in Paris and she brought us to SAFE, after only 1 visit it quickly became a highlight of our trip and we made a point to add it to our daily roytine as a restful spot to take in an afternoon moment surrounded by lovely people and delicious coffee and food. Elodie the owner and Steph the barista were wonderful people making the shop such an inclusive and special place. My 4 year old son felt very much at home and we consider everyone at SAFE friends. There are rotating pop up retail offerings and we very much enjoyed the vintage, menswear, and especially the beautiful knitwear collection. Below the shop by a wonderful spiral staircase there is a tattoo parlor with a truly unique and welcoming tattoo team - so lovely were they, that I even got a long hoped for tattoo there. SAFE is very much a special place in modern Paris and it is a must visit for a locals vibe and...
