Making our way through Paris' version of Brick Lane to find some delicious Indian food is one thing. Now we ended up finding a fully vegan restaurant that served up some delicious Indian and Nepalese cuisine that made for the perfect lunch.
The restaurant is about a ten minute walk from the East Station so definitely accessible. They have a lot of indoor seating which made it easy for our group of 4 to find a table for lunch.
The menu is again entirely vegan friendly, and contains a lot of staples like curries, biryani, and thalis. I went with the Large Vegan Thali (18€) and it did not disappoint. It came on a beautiful large plate with three different kinds of legume curries, a delicious chutney, rice, and roti to consume everything together. I barely finished my plate since there was so much to enjoy.
I also went in for a mango lassi since it's difficult to find vegan ones. It was a refreshing way to help cool off from the Parisian heat.

Read moreAmazing Indian vegetarian food. The taste is just like a good home cooked meal back in India. 10/10 would recommend on the basis of the taste of the curries.
Everytime we either take Barotha Set or Chapati Set depending upon the mood.
Note: Barotha felt like it is made from wheat flour type 45 or 55 Chapati is made from whole wheat flour (farine de blé complete) (healthier option)
In terms of curry options, there are around 8-10 vegetarian curries available to choose from (most of them are vegan, I don't remember if I ever saw dairy products in the curry in all my past visits) and the curries that were available varied during each visit. But that was the best part about having dinner here, new tasty curries everytime.
Added cherry on top is that the owner is a...
Read moreWe were there for two days in a row because we loved it so much! They have a variety of indian classics, but it is definetly not boring. The vegetable side dishes actually vary from day to day, so its always very fresh and exciting. Everything tasted absolutly delicious! Its also nice and spicy, especially my mushroom biryani, which was nicely balanced by a fresh raita. Most dishes seem to have a chapati and sauces served with them. The portion sizes are quite big and the price is rather low for Paris and the quality. You get free bottels of water served with your food, but I can also really recommend the mango lassi, which is very rich an creamy.
For us this was the best Indian food we ever had and we would definetly come back if we are ever in...
