For those of you who dont have patience, Disclaimer: this review's going to be a bit long! I have been to this restaurant a few times in the past and I had really liked the food, specifically the beef kothu parotta. So I came here with my husband today and was hoping to have some good food before we did our shopping. We ordered the beef kothu parotta and one of the meal options consisting of a starter (tandoori chicken), mutton biryani and payasam. Turns out the beef and parotta were not really fresh, and the the mutton in the biryani (which was sheep meat) had absolutely no taste. The rice was well flavoured (but more of a tomato rice rather than a biryani to be honest). The tandoori chicken was actually quite nice which had given me some hope initially to look forward to the rest of the food ordered. The Payasam and Mango Lassi were also pretty good. Despite the lack of quality in some of the items, we decided to let it go and considered that maybe it's a one time thing. But what was the most disappointing was the service, the person taking the order would not even interact with us properly while delivering the food (as if there were better customers to attend to) and the most shocking of all was when we asked to have the rest of biryani parceled, he came and gave us a plastic box in the sense that we had to pack it ourselves. Im not sure if this is a normal practice here or if this treatment was just for us. It is a standard etiquette for the restaurant to pack the remaining food if customer asks for it. The person didnt even provide us with a plastic cover to carry the parcel we had to ask for it and when he gave the cover, he didnt give it to us in our hands, just kept it on the counter even though we were right there. Now I dno if there was something we did to disappoint the restaurant staff, but I have never been treated this way. Left me with a weird feeling on leaving the restaurant.

I live nearby and walk through this neighborhood all the time. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of the main courses until after we had eaten some. We shared an entree called Badji, it was deep fried shrimp, onion, aubergine, and potato breaded with a tempura style breading. It came with 4 sauces. This was the highlight of the meal. I had Dal with tikki masala chicken. It was ok, lentils and chicken in redish curry with tomatoes, served with Nan. My husband had A vegetable stewish thing, neither of us can remember the name. It was peas, carrots, aubergine, green beans, in a redish curry sauce. Both dishes were ok. It's all one flavor, all one texture. I have to say the staff was efficient, but they could slap on a smile. I wanted to give a better review after reading the others, but this is honest. Maybe I don't love Indian food.

Comfort and Authentic South Indian food at the right price All dishes taken were good, authentic and very affordable. It’s easy to drop the word “authentic” but as some one like me who has lived in India before (not being of any Indian origin at all), the flavors of this place don’t taste like other Indian restaurants that offer the same dishes. You can tell they have a personal touch, and a menu that goes beyond classics = butter chicken, chicken tikka masala…etc. If you like Indian food, I really recommend because you have probably tried other places before and you already have an idea about the concept of Indian food. You will definitely find it different and more special!

Hi, I didn't want to write this but I have to because its important to the owner to care about this for customers. I'm the medical student next to disney restaurent hospital. I have bought today 18€ stuffs normally I used to by mor ethan 30€ whenever I come mostly. Frequently , I used to come here. But before I never faced like embarrassing moment by anyone there. But today that service boy he is taller one may be inidan or slk I dnt know. I simple asked him do u have pavbaji he said no. His answered for many questions like not ok , like he treated me like disrespected way. Then he talked other person about me. i heard all.its nonsense to talk about anyone without any reason. I dnt know him even personally. there is nothing to talk if I asked pavbaji. He doesn't know how to respect the clients.i could shout him.but I'm not like that person. I said why did u talk like this he was not feeling anything. I used to send many people of my French circle and my family there. But now my family is so anger about this. They said such an uneducated waiter he is. . Its upto your patron to talk to u. u need to treat your customer good way not like this at all. Im tamoul so its such an embarassing when our tamils are behaving like this. Treat all same way. Please.otherwise food and...

I will start first with the kitchen accidentally I saw the kitchen while going to the toilet. It was so dirty . the cook did not look clean one of them was scratching his hair . All the pots and services were dripping with food . We order palak paneer and garlic naan . When the food arrived it did not look like indian food . The Spinach look and tastes like frozen cheap French supermarket market food with cream and cheese and no Indien taste . It Was the worse food I ever tasted . The naan was gluey and completely cover with big chunks of garlic and burnt underneath was over powering. I ask the owner is this was palak , he say yes this is how we do it in france . He was annoyed when I told him it is bad food and not Indien food. We did not eat and left . We still had to pay. On top of it , it was very expensive. I wonder if they eat such a food themselves or only serve it to the French customers because they assume they have no idea . It was far the worst food I have ever eaten that was labeled "Indian". I...
